Fuck Trump.

Today, (Foreign Minister Sergei) Lavrov and (Putin aide) Yuri Ushakov will fly to Riyadh and a meeting is expected Tuesday with the Americans, devoted primarily to restoring the whole complex of Russian-American relations.
Also, it will be dedicated to possible negotiations on a Ukrainian resolution, and organising a meeting between the two presidents.

Explain. You think Russia invaded to harm the US?
In that sense that without the USA funding them, it would have been over long ago. It’s why the stuff about peace negotiations will only happen when Ukraine is ready, they’ll be ones setting the terms, etc was never going to happen.

Correct on the first sentence. Without American help Putin would have taken the whole country.

What good would that have done?

How does that make it a proxy war? The Ukrainians didn’t fight back because the US asked them to but because they were defending their homeland. Have the US even supplied more than half the aid?

This logic makes any NATO conflict a “proxy war” because the Americans are needed.

A combined graph of the EU, EAA and the UK kind of proves the point that the whole thing has been reliant on American funding.

Yeah Europe is the equivalent. Or should we break the US funding down by state?

What’s your argument here? That the US is a super power and individual European states aren’t?

The US as I keep saying have in the past admitted that they would not be against a Russian invasion and that it will suit them to keep a war ongoing to weaken who they perceive as an enemy.

The strategy was to supply enough to prolong and not end the war. When have the US ever done anything that doesn’t benefit them?

Suppose the US does nothing and allows Putin to wipe Ukraine off the map. What good does that do anyone?
