And personally making money, he's basically trying to short the market somehow, tbf I think the dollar needs all the help it can get.

Bit like Brexit. Crash an economy and make money shorting it.

Blimey mate, are you seriously saying that Zelenskyy instigated a war with Russia and then has been keeping it going just to get rich?

No, I am saying how much money has he made?

Ukraine is right up there for corruption isn't it?

Again, I am sure they are all at it. Not sure why he comes out as a victim.

He's a victim because tens of thousands of his fellow countrymen, including women and children are being killed by Russians. His country is being bombed day and night.

At the outbreak of the war they were literally sending death squads after him.

Is this is some attempt to say "they're all the same", or Ukraine deserves it because Zelenskyy's bent?

How much money has he made? Where are you getting your information from mate? Russia Today? Trump?

You do realise Gorbachev is despised in Russia and that the demise of the Soviet Union is seen as a dark day by most of Russia?
Indeed I do. Partly due to Putin making that the narrative over the last 25 years. Before that opinion of his was a bit more mixed.

But that's why I was talking about personalities. Gorbachev was more open and willing to negotiate, leaving him open to critcism. Putin will just double down and mercilessly destroy anyone that points out the inconsistencies and bullshit he comes out with.

I know I keep saying it, but he is either incredibly dumb, or a complete lunatic.

It's unbelievable the stuff he's coming out with, isn't it.

I have friends in the US (not Democrat supporters by a long chalk), who just say they are utterly embarrassed and think everyone else must now think of the US as a laughing stock, it's so utterly ridiculous.
Well he's probably both.

But as many people suspected he goes into a room with Putin and comes out basically just repeating what Putin has told him. Once again he's being played like a fiddle because he's so easy to manipulate. Just be the last person in the room with him and tell him how great he is while putting forward your position and he will just go out and repeat it.

I imagine this is what Putin is doing right now.

The individuals who Russia would literally love to see dead or in a Gulag. Who choose to live in a city under constant threat of attack.

Those individuals, not victims? Sorry mate, it's a nonsense argument.

You have written a story based on the question and taken it miles off where you want it to, added a fair few assumptions in as well.

We have friends in Kyiv and they are literally being bombed every single night. 😞

They say it's several times a day.

Obviously must be drones.

You are falling for Putin and Trumps very transparent and weak attempts at propoganda through character assassination. How intelligent people fall for this fabricated sh!te I'll never know!. Russia, China, Trump, Farage etc. are all at it, and people swallow it. No excuses as plenty of proper balanced information available from reliable sources at touch of a button.

He and his chums are certainly not going to be as poor as the people he leaves behind when he leaves the country

President in being richer than citizens shocker, stop the press!!!!!!!!!!

Not exactly the point of the article is it?

It's literally the point you just made though.

And that company was set up in 2012, something to do with TV production, so it's nothing to do with profiteering from the war like you and Nick (and Putin) are suggesting.

Its point is that he does exactly what he says he is opposed to

A strange argument. So if one does it they all can?
No, but if you're going to use it to take the high stance as a reason to beat him and the Ukrainians with then you should at least acknowledge that the other side's President does it to a far far bigger degree.

It's like saying Dr Crippen was bad but Harold Shipman was ok.

Funny thing is, my comment was that they are all looking after themselves as individuals first and foremost. The responses were essays completely unrelated to what I said.

Seems like people have to be either one end of the scale or the other, Trump and Putin nasty men so completely ignore the fact Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries about. Can't possibly be the case that they are all at it, looking after number 1.

Weird.

If you try and put Zelensky on the same level as Putin then you're bound to get shit. And rightly so.

'Weird'.

What on earth are you blabbering on about now?

He has enforced conscription, banned people from leaving the country, tried to recall citizens to fight - while he sits with Global leaders and will have a Cayman Island account to fall back on.

Pretty easy to understand really.
