Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already (14 Viewers)

It doesn't favour Trump though. There are scores of articles on there telling you to vote for Harris. You cannot quote that as a source to support your argument and then make a comment about it not being biased in any way - which is what you are doing and now trying to backtrack on using semantics.
Yes my point is it doesn’t favour Trump but historically should do.

Im not back tracking on anything. They are considered one of the most neutral and evidence based publications, if they have a slight bias it’s pro business/libertarian. However, they still backed Harris and see Trump as not worth the risk.

He's certainly an unpalatable character, very American for sure! Maybe because he's such a dunce he just says out loud what a lot of politicians think anyway, especially over there. At least you know what you're getting. I expect his term will be full of bluster and not much else then America will be back to flip flopping between career politician for the foreseeable. That's more likely to me than the hellfire predicted by some on here. I guess time will tell.
Fluoride conspiracy will be funny

Who's we, i don't expect much to change in the UK. As for the US, Trump only has 1 term anyway and if the people don't like what he does they'll just vote the Republicans out again and the cycle will continue. I do find these threads all very dramatic.
I mean we the posters on here who don’t understand why people vote for Trump. We just want to be proved right, if we cite evidence we’re talking down to people, we’re in an echo chamber etc. whatever “we” say is met with derision.

Suspect He will say we need to let China have it in exchange for doing business with them. I know various western nations have tried to start building fabs for semiconductors but don’t think we are anywhere near ready to keep our own industries afloat.

Nowhere else is even close to what TSMC can put out, they're building new fabs in the US and Mexico (and elsewhere) but it'll be 5-10 years at least before they're at the same sort of level. I also strongly suspect the plan is that the Taiwan fabs will be destroyed before China can get their hands on them in working condition if they do invade. The one company in the world who can manufacture them (ASML) is Dutch and should be well out of the line of fire but it'd definitely set computing progress back a bit.

Gyokeres scoring a hattrick won't affect global security or result in people's homes being bombed to fuck but otherwise yeah great comparison.
There’s been an escalation of global conflict pre and post-Trump. This is nonsense.

Frankly, Biden’s disastrous withdrawal in Afghanistan has ‘green-lit’ the actions of Russia and Iran (who also benefitted from lifting of Trump-era sanctions under Biden).

Trump talks a bombastic game but it’s clear his unpredictability actually checked our adversaries.

Oh right, i don't care about talking down to. People speak like shit to each other on this forum all the time, bunch of rude cunts the lot of you. It's just the dramatics...

Just having a quick look at immigration stats for the US.

Numbers seem to track on the same trend going back decades so whoever is in power seems to have made little difference however the number of people blocked from entering the US illegally seems to have shot up dramatically in the last 3 years.

Was surprised to see that as its the opposite of what I expected.

This is exactly what people were trying to say when people had the knives out for Robins & coming up with all kinds of bonkers scenarios to justify their view, and others were urging to give it time. Same principle.

Human nature at the moment.

Again, it's you being dramatic and making shit up whilst accusing others of it. Going on like people were trying to hunt him down and physically attack him or something.

It's fucking weird.

The Supreme Court and legislature. Trump didn’t act like a dictator in his first term so it’s quite a stretch to think he will this time around.
He's got the house, senate and supreme court sewn up this time so its a slightly different situation to his last presidency.

No it’s definitely emotional.
I’m emotional
I hate the Christian faith being distorted into a nationalistic religion to force other people of other faiths and none to do what they think god is asking them to to avoid bringing judgment on their nation
It’s so anti reason, logic, science and rationality

'Every praying person, every person who has an encounter with God, must have a passionate concern for their neighbour. To treat any of these as if he were less than the child of God is to deny the validity of one's spiritual existence.'

I wouldn’t say I’m emotional, but there is a heaviness at the state of the world. Not about Trump, just in general.

Again, what's your point?

You just talk shite constantly with no actual point. Existence is thinking you can "get one over" on people on here and you're shit at it.

I guess the point- if there really has to be one for you- is that you accuse people of making things up, but you’re among the very worst for it, a quick glance at the Robins stuff shows that quite clearly.

We've even had a political broadcast from a green party MP in Bristol, you'd think the USA actually just voted in Joseph goebells and Adolf Hitler

so melodramatic , such student union type nonsense

Be careful not to talk down to people please.

I haven't made anything up, that's what I'm saying.

Whereas you on every thread making out people are literally trying to stab him.

Now doing the same in this one.

And still the right thing to do so we can influence the world
I still think it’s sound to lead the science on it and reap the benefits
The answer of course is nuclear
Come off it, we don’t influence the world.
The answer is nuclear, however the way we are going there will be power cuts when the “renewables” aren’t working,

And there you go again making things up, you can’t help yourself 😁

if you can show me where I have made out that “people are literally trying to stab him” (either Robins or Trump) we can talk then 🤡
