How much did oxlade Chamberlain go for when Southampton were in league 1? 12 million was it? Sisu, if they are selling our best asset need to get top dollar!
Is he our best asset? He's an okay player, who might become a good one, or end up nowhere. Too young to know for sure either way.
Premiership clubs can afford to take a gamble of a million or so, and if it doesn't work out, not that big a deal.
A million to us now is a big deal however, jam today, rather than potentially margarine tomorrow.
May of course be jam and cream tomorrow, which is why i'd hope there is a decent sell on clause just in case.
"All of the money will be reinvested across the entire football side of the business - from youth development to the first team.
Hands up if you believe this?
Is there a 'hands down' smiley?"All of the money will be reinvested across the entire football side of the business - from youth development to the first team.

I do!!!! This transaction has allowed the club's academy to commit to the EPPP as a category 2 club for at least the next 12 months! :claping hands:
I don't see any reason why not. We know that ownership has been covering substantial losses for a while now; surely any income is indirectly going into the first team/youth team.
yes of course, develop all these youngsters ,then to sell them off to buy 35 year old crocks who can't find any other club to take them on. This has to be the worst strategy ever used in world football !!
The current losses are wholly the responsibility of the current owners, as they have overseen a disastrous downhill spiral of dwindling gates, failed management appointments and poor football giving rise to relegation. This isn't what those who gave over their shares for free were promised.
And? 90% of fees are undisclosed. Move along people...

This has to be the worst strategy ever used in world football !! when will some people see what they are doing to us.Its disgraceful and yet some people see Kilbane as a good signing.
Whose next bring in Lee Dixon, Tony Adams and Martin Keown, as I know there still playing at lower league football, to replace Christie Thomas and Clarke
The Rev
Yes, don't dare criticise, we have sold one of our most talented young players to fund SISU's investors....move along people.....just pay your money, shut up and watch the dross....ZEE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CRITCIZE, UNDERTSTANDEN, ENGLISHER??????
