Haven't complained once , just saying how I found out .So you're complaint is that you had no idea that Mariupol had fallen, then admit you don't follow mainstream news. So how was mainstream news supposed to inform you? Telepathy?
I agree that at all times, and especially during war, you have to be very careful of what is reported, but that isn't necessarily the fault of journalists. War zones are dangerous places, so their movements are likely to be heavily restricted and thus their access to information limited. How can they report on what the Russians are up to when the Russians are hardly going to go around telling everyone? Then you've got the spin each side wants to put on it. The steelworks for example - if official sources have told then it's an evacuation then they have to report that. If the Russians call it a surrender who to believe?
More lazy and dishonest reporting from Sky News in eastern Ukraine here:
Alex Crawford reports from the city of Severodonetsk where Ukrainian and Russian forces fight furiously for control
Desperation has set in for the people of Severodonetsk. Rockets continually rain down on the homes of the elderly with food and water supplies slowly running dry.news.sky.com
I would say this is worth seven minutes of your time today, but it doesn’t even include a single quote from the Russian government, so maybe don’t bother. There’s always Twitter.
Don't know the legal situation re. international waters, but you would hope a combined fleet from interested nations would try to protect/escourt ships as a humanitarian effort.Good news - I am hoping that the navy will step into the Black Sea to protect Odesa so that exports can flow
It's part of plan along with this new citizenship rule to create Russian population majorities in these areas. Then they are creating new Lubansk & Donbas situations. Even if Ukraine retakes these areas it's another festering timebomb for the future.Fucking hell

Not sure Russia would do unless Ukraine gives up parts of the country, which would just kick it down the road, IMO.
At what point do both countries agree to negotiations ?

Are they taking the production as well or just the ports?
Not sure , problem I have with it all is , as they gain more and more territory , they gain control of more of the worlds resources along with it , and with that comes power , more power than they already had
My contacts there say they had taken some but rail transport difficult. Some large stores burnt down. But bulk of production in areas not under Russian control. Problem is storing grain as stores need to be emptied to allow for what harvest there will be coming in at end of June and July. Stored grain can't be shipped as so much goes by rail to the ports which are now under Russian control. Russia keeps control over those ports then they will throttle the rest of Ukraine anyway over coming years - as well as controlling a significant portion of world grain and oils supply. Are they taking the production as well or just the ports?

A couple of issues are Ukrainian railways different gauge to European so transport slow already. sheer volume of Ukrainian agricultural exports to other parts of the world would make rail to other ports a difficult option. So could we get it out to the west by train? More expensive I’ve imagine.
Really is getting to a point where it’s not just about Ukraine territorial integrity.
Would you?
At what point do both countries agree to negotiations ?
Eventually you'd imagine they will have tooWould you?
It's sad to say, but it probably suits NATO to have Russia dragged into a long war of attrition.Could have squashed this invasion force several times over now. We chose not to, and it’s naive to think Putin won’t stop until he has it all.

I also think it's time people stop listening to people who are telling us Ukraine are winning the war .. because they are not
