I want zero fly zones I want zero military action and nothing that happens in Ukraine will change that view
If the sanctions fail - my belief is they will but that’s an opinion - even if Ukraine was bombed to pieces I would not want one British soldier dying for Ukraine

However, Ukraine is at war so they will procure weapons however they see fit. This is a dirty war according to reports of intensive bombardments that will not achieve anything other than to strengthen Ukraine‘s resolve. Russia can’t have it all their own way.Well it's a bit like saying
" we can't send them to you because if we do that we may create a full blown war because we are flying what Russia will see as hostile military aircraft into their airspace......... but you are very welcome to come and collect them yourselves. "

I'm hopeful that the sanctions will have an effect and that Ukrainian resistance will last long enough for questions to be asked of Putin by his own people. The anti-war protests across Russia show a small but promising lead in that direction and the longer it goes on the more people will question Putin and he might be brought down from within.
If not, like Hitler he'll just push further and further until action is necessary. I certainly don't want it but I feel it may end up being unavoidable one way or another.
