I think this is the video of this event, seems there was a few military trucks but instead of them it hit a civilian bus.

Things actually seem to be gathering a bit of steam, I really didn't expect something like this to kick off this weekend!
I'm certainly no body language expert but every single video message I've seen from Putin and his underlings looked more like a hostage situation. They're absolutely bricking it.

Am I right in thinking if Prigozhin ends up in charge or a say in actual policy, won't he just want to do the job properly and won't hold back? Could this esculate further than Putin imagined?

Certainly a nutter. Wagner been accused of most of the more serious war crimes against civilian population and their track record as a mercenary group in certain African states is grim.
The fear for the Russian leadership is maybe how other "official" troops react - not fight them or even join with them. The official Army troops don't like the leadership, the conscription amongst other things.
Wagner can't take Moscow. They are sitting ducks in their convoys to Russian airforce. But leadership don't want to be seen to be killing a load of their own citizens even if they are calling it a mutiny

That's why he's calling out the elite.The accusations of mismanagement, corruption etc aren't confined to the military leaders. It's unlikely he can position himself but he's been allowed almost complete freedom up until now to do what he pleases. Part of this has to be about the July 1st deadline - which would strip him of a lot of power and influence

I said pretty much from day one that this invasion was a catastrophic mistake from Putin that would cripple Russia for decades and the army would collapse.
Looks like that time is now.
It's gone from a 3 day special military operation to resorting to bombing their own country to halt a coup.

The key will be whether the regular Russian army is willing to die for Putin. If they either join with Wagner or just sit on their hands, it might be all over for Putin.
Otherwise you'd have to think Wagner is finished.
Either result could be good for Ukraine.
This was always Putin's war, his obsession. Prigozhin is an evil man without doubt, but his primary motivation appears to be money, and there's little to be gained in a prolonged war with Ukraine in that sense. He's already vigorously criticised the reasons for the Ukrainian war as being about other generals seeking glory rather than Ukraine and NATO threatening Russia.
If Putin wins, then he's lost one of the few effective arms of his military, and has his strongman image is somewhat dented.
It'll be interesting to see how it pans out, but hopefully they both lose!

There has been so fight from the state forces but the wagner group have got a long way so there must be a bit of the state forces that are not really fighting them

He's also called out members of the elite for starting the war for their own benefit, for profiteering in the Donbas region since 2014 etc. The MOD is taking flak for their handling of the war but others are taking it for causing it to happen in the first place

Can see this descending into a civil war. If so, awful for the Russian public, but would surely see an end to the Ukraine invasion. I hope to see Nuremberg like trials in the not too distant.

Funny in a way. Russia went into Ukraine, thinking they'd whip down the highway, take Kyiv, and replace the President in three days.
Turns out that the whole country was willing to fight and die to stop that happening.
Wagner, heading for Moscow, might well be there in two!

This sounds spot on to me. Doesn't seem as though there is any positive outcome possible from the point of view of the Russian government. Either a defeat for Wagner, or the Russian MOD, will just result in a seriously weakened Russian military, when their armed forces have already taken massive losses. I hope Ukraine has a tactically sound counter offensive plan they can act on immediately, and they need to hit hard.
