I’m not mocking it; the whole thing has been a massive waste of human life, misery and money. I’d like to see the fighting end ASAP.
That could happen immediately if Putin told the Russian military to go back to Russia.

Also if the Tic Tock king conceded he needs to negotiate land surrender

It's just odd how you continually refer to one offensive as failed while never call out the biggest failure of all.

It's mad how many people seem to ignore this tiny fact when coming up with ways to end the war.

Because it’s a stupid comment and it wouldn’t stop it as the Ukrainian grifter is demanding back territory that’s been Russian for 10 years

What is truly amazing is how many people have absolutely no idea why Putin thought it so vital to launch this invasion/incursion/war in the first place.

Well over 2 years and 10 months since it started and so many people still just don't get it.

Understand this, this war will not end while America continues to supply weapons, and while Ukrain continues to press gang its people to fight.

Even some nato countries are now seeing the light and refusing to supply more weapons.

The earliest the fighting can stop is November the 7th IF Trump wins the American election, and forces Zolenski to the negotiating table.
If Harris wins its more senceless loss of life and an inevitable march to conflict escalation or the inevitable collapse of NATO.

But I thought you said the Russian army was essentially a joke and on the verge of collapse? The current strategy is just a long term stalemate funded by the West costing billions.

Enlighten us, please,
Just.look back on this thread, then go and listen to the interviews with retired US generals and intelligence analysts.
The info is out there in the public domain.

What is surprising is people's reluctance to believe the facts, and instead to believe the US and UK propaganda.

We're coming up to 3 years into their 3 day operation. Their navy has been chased away by a country without a navy.

Clearly that's more of a 'joke' and more 'infamous' than Ukraine's counteroffensive.

Yeah come on, enlighten us!

We're so brainwashed by the UK and US propaganda we need to hear what the Russian propaganda is saying, you seem like a good person to ask 😉

No one could enlighten you.

You are beyond help.
Even when the war is won, you still won't understand why Ukraine lost.

This is a deranged response even for you.

What is deranged is the notion Putin will just do the right thing and leave

At least you acknowledge it would be the right thing.

And I know Putin won't do it, but it doesn't stop Russia leaving Ukraine being a way of ending it.

Your inability to take any note of history is incredible.

Do you really think it will end even if Ukraine accepted concession of land? Like happened in 2014 right? When Crimea and the Donbas was allowed to be annexed and that would be enough with Putin? It will never be enough.

I wonder if it had been the UK invaded if you would be arguing the case for peace.

How a country fighting for its sovereignty is a 'senseless' loss of life I don't know. Did Neville Chamberlain have it right in your eyes too?

Do you honestly believe Putin will take the whole of Ukraine and then look to invade Poland and God knows who else?

And your seriously comparing Putin to Hitler?

Honestly your so far detached to what's going on in Ukraine that's it's embarrassing, and quite frankly not even worth the effort arguing with you.

When the inevitable peace treaty is signed, probably along the lines of the one offered by Putin 18 months ago, ill bump your thread (along with one or two others) just to illustrate how out of touch certain posters are.

The conflict has been ongoing since 2014, Ukraine didn’t accept anything. Weirdly no one seemed to care then.

And I'll bump it in a year or two when it all kicks off again.

Only reason Putin wouldn't ultimately look to other ex-Soviet states is if they joined NATO.

Putin did it to overthrow a democratically elected European government that wouldn't bend to his wishes, and because he thought it would be over in a couple of days.

It wasn't over in a couple of days because the vast majority of Ukrainians were willing to fight to preserve their freedom.

You either support them in that or you appease the aggressor.

That's it, it's no more complex than that.

You've picked your side, fair enough. Don't try to defend it by wringing your hands and saying it's senseless though, because if you're Ukrainian it clearly isn't.

Ukraine has a pretty chequered history regarding democracy.

This war is far more complex and has been inevitable for some time.

It is the hypocrisy that I find staggering. There have oddly bee other conflicts across the globe which no one seems very bothered about.

It only matters because the US are driving the conflict. The US have always viewed Russia as the enemy from Cold War days and this is a convenient way of fighting a proxy war on - to them - a tin pot country. Please do not tell me you believe the US care less about Ukraine. Its a stooge and even if it had won the war would have become a US poodle state

Zelenskyy has now said that the war must end through diplomatic means next year.
Suprise suprise, he's looking for a way out now he knows the new American president isn't hell bent on WW3, and won't continue to supply the weapons.

So we can expect it to end in the way I always said it would end with a negotiated settlement where Ukraine can never join NATO, there can be no Western military presence in Ukraine, and Russia takes back ownership of Eastern Ukraine.
Hopefully this will happen before the worst of the winter sets in and the remaining Ukrainian people freeze to death.
