Might have been Robins decision

It might be Adi Viveash's decision, just a thought. It wouldn't surprise me if he has been headhunted i.e Manchester United?

Posted Doyle twice in 3 days…..

Did I imagine somebody said it was already arranged Doyle would come back at some point after getting some experience? It was a while ago and may have just been a random prediction!

He has definitely helped robins better himself as a manager , and was responsible for the formation switch to wingback that in effect won us promotion
Yeah he's made Robins more modern a manager tactically. Tbf our dip in League 2 happened when Viveash came in as we tried systems arguably more sophisticated than the players we had at the time, since then he's certainly contributed plenty.

Maybe he's the lineup leak 😉

Given we’ve already appointed replacements it’s hardly likely is it

It’s boateng and carr

my enthusiasm for the season has completely gone
why? Do you know their coaching credentials?

it’s obviously the performance director sorting out behind the scenes - I feel like we’re acting more and more like a modern elite club the more I read

Did I initially think about robins last ally going? Yeah - but it’s all about evolution

I think they way Doyle always speaks about the club, it’s only a matter of time before he comes back in some sort of capacity.

Oh this feels like a dark omen. Hopefully I'm reading too much into it.

Might be wrong but Adi was still living in Wootton Bassett I believe. 4 hour round trip for him. If it was me I'd have sacked that off the first offer I got closer to home. Any clubs closer to him looking for staff?

He was also in a relationship with somebody who works for the club at Ryton. I really hope he’s not been sacked on the eve of preseason.

Besides myself with george boeteng

Tbh he’s got some bridge building with the fans with long memories of what he said about us while he was at Villa (not his move, that was just a job upgrade, but his comments about the fanbase).

Feel this could hamper some of the younger talented loans we get in as I think adi was the link with his reputation that clubs trusted. Guessing this will mix things up abit a few more fresh ideas to be thrown around under Robbins guideance

Some real generational head loss in this thread already, although I do think Robins will probably be gone if we don’t at least make the play-offs this season. Think changes this season have been made off the back the horrendous end to last season.

To be fair, it might just work for the club and freshen things up. Who knows will just have to wait and see.

My main concern is that we’ve been improving every year under the current regime and looked in line for a promotion push this season. We could get even better under the new structure but seems a big risk?

We didn’t improve last season

Most of the ex Chelsea players we have signed haven't always been that good .
