Great post Gren, See i do give credit where it is due. And trust me i don't normally read your post with hope of agreeing.
I don't doubt for 1 minute that he could charm a few with his down to earth chat, but his record has been terrible and no way should he get away with covering it over with i worked hard or i was committed. That should be a given, fans have been treated so badly by previous directors that him being approachable is masking what most should be asking, was he good for the club? and did he do a good job?. In my opinion he wasn't and the only progress has been made since he was told to take a back seat.
Lastly, if he was such a good guy and cared for the fans feelings he would of walked the first time Sixfields was mentioned, instead he tried to appease and went along with the whole mess until it became unattainable to carry on. So i am happy he has gone and cant wait for Fisher to follow then we may see an upturn in gates to match a club that wants to go forward on and off the field.
