You may be right but wait and seeits not exactly a brave new world if we are having to ship players out before getting new ones in
I for one wish him well and would be happy to see him bag a fewYou so know he is going to score first game for them
Think we are shipping players out because we know players are coming in otherwise I’m certain Waggy would have been kept, he has limitations but is an old head to have on the bench. Not Kane think MR wanted him away asap.its not exactly a brave new world if we are having to ship players out before getting new ones in
We have shipped out two players who are never likely to be first team regulars. Fantastic business.Think we are shipping players out because we know players are coming in otherwise I’m certain Waggy would have been kept, he has limitations but is an old head to have on the bench. His miss at the start of the Bristol game and his effort at 2-1 against Wrexham is all you need to remember. It wasn’t great it was okayCan't believe the negativity around Waghorn. He and Gyo had a great partnership up until he got Covid. He obviously has some form of long covid that affected his performances since.
Good luck to him...I hope he does well. Also well liked amongst the squad. Players normally react poorly with shit/lazy players...didn't seem too happen with Waghorn.
and KnockeartThey also signed Hudlin.
Yep but jch did after he left so just going on that basis but highly doubt itI would be absolutely amazed if that happened.
A desperate oneSuch an awful player yet gets a championship club to take him on
No one has a clue how much waghorn and Kane are paid and if we are still contributing to those wages
kane took a significant pay cut to come here
Kane must have been on 20k at QPR, I’m guessing we were paying at least 13-15k if he took a pay cut
I think it was a lot lower than that
No grendel said we can’t cause we’ve offloaded Kane and Waghorn for the two loaneesWhilst he won't be a big miss in term of the impact he's had here, it leaves us very short for tomorrow. Walker has only just come back on grass and Godden is still injured, tavares also out for the rest of the season, and O'Hare too. That leaves us very short tomorrow with just Gyokeres and Palmer as recognised 'attacking' players. Granted we will bring in reinforcements, but it would have been good to get someone in before letting Waggy go.

It’s guesswork based on what we know. Kane is a player who has spent his whole career in the top 2 divisions. You are completely right, none of us know what they are paid.
Oh what?
But it's never that easy unfortunately. You have to take the opportunity when it arises. It's not like we would want to play two forwards tomorrow, especially when one never scores.Whilst he won't be a big miss in term of the impact he's had here, it leaves us very short for tomorrow. its a reasonable assumption that high paying London club QPR were paying a significant wage - when we came in it was hardly likely he’s going to drop a significant portion of that. So he may have taken his wage cut, but it wouldn’t have been lower that what championship clubs pay on average and given we’re paying around 17/18m in wages I’d say it’s not far off 13-15k

Nobody on here wanted any of the other offerings did they?Does this mean another striker coming in? We only have gyo at the minute.
Payback for Hiwula?Such an awful player yet gets a championship club to take him on
Do we know how much of that wage we're still picking up? Applies to Kane as well.Let's not hate on Waghorn to much, think he was clearly a decent professional and a good player to have in the dressing room and training ground.
However the right decision to move him on, high wage and picks up too many injuries and when he does play hasn't produced enough.
There's no way Huddersfield are paying that though is there? We are getting rid of probably 12k a week. If we passed up on that opportunity now it may not come again. Its a no brainer to let him go given the opportunity even if no one comes in beforehand

You'll never get anywhere on here with that sort of positivity. Can't believe the negativity around Waghorn. He and Gyo had a great partnership up until he got Covid. He obviously has some form of long covid that affected his performances since.

We were trying to get them gone previously.its not exactly a brave new world if we are having to ship players out before getting new ones in
@better days said he took a significant pay cut - with respect I think he’s a bit more informed than you
No one has a clue how much waghorn and Kane are paid and if we are still contributing to those wages
It is nice to see sensible posts like this get the most likes where as stupid ones slatting players get one or two from the usual bellend postersBloke never really had a chance from the off with some fans cause he wasn’t Max Biamou
Couldn’t knock his effort, just a signing that hasn’t worked out which happens at every football club from time to time, good luck to him
Yep it's great business so farKanes going to be on over 10 too so if charlton are paying half, and Huddersfield reportedly paying 90% of Shithorns wage, then thats a good 15k saved
Can't believe negativity? He's made 1 million from our club in 2 seasons. He's on half a million per goal..Can't believe the negativity around Waghorn. He and Gyo had a great partnership up until he got Covid. He obviously has some form of long covid that affected his performances since.
Good luck to him...I hope he does well. Also well liked amongst the squad. Players normally react poorly with shit/lazy players...didn't seem too happen with Waghorn.
Probably not. But given its a championship club I think it's reasonable to assume they are paying 75%? Best part of 150k for half a seasonThere's no way Huddersfield are paying that though is there?
Very decent guy as well apparently shame it didn’t work out hereGood luck to him, could see he was probably a positive presence in the team when everyone celebrated his penalty this season.
Shame his legs appear to have gone. Still not bad a bad technical player
