I doubt I would be too if I was in the US, it wasn't the point though , it was in jest
sorry Richard Keogh
I’m shocked he didn’t declare that Godden’s penalties don’t count
I cannot be bothered to go back through, but I actually think he did somewhere. At the very least it was made reference to.
Oh dear. Me and Grendel were ridiculed for suggesting penalties shouldn’t be includedWell, penalties shouldn't be included really & it should be done based on minutes or per 90 if you really want to compare like for like.
Championship:
Walker - 287 mins per goal
Godden - 172 mins per goal
League one:
Walker - 204 mins per goal
Godden - 175 mins per goal.
Godden is the better goalscorer by some distance.
It's more because to make sufficient headroom in the budget he was really the only player that could go out that anybody would takeI don't care after all .. walker isn't here because his workrate and attitude don't fit .. and it also doesn't fit at pompey ..
So is it coventry that need to change or Tyler walker ?
I'd suggest the latter

It's absolutely clear.Championship:

So now you think robins is clueless wow
I mean it really does matter when you are comparing 2 strikers. Why wouldn’t you discount penalty goals when one takes penalties and the other doesnt.Wonder if the amount of penalties that Gary McAllister scored makes him less of a classy player. Even though he’s a midfielder. The “penalties don’t count” thing is bullshit.
Well yes given Walker will be on a much larger salary than Shipley and Shipley at that point was covering left wing back due to injuryWell no, Shipley was due to leave for a fee and because he scored against QPR we kept him. Then went back to deciding he wasn’t up to it.
Definitely not KaneNot in the 11 I would think that’s Kane at the time

Good Cus he’s really not that great. I’d be looking to move him onDefinitely not Kane
He was virtually forced out of QPR & we were able to drive a hard bargain
My god you're an idiot.
Do you think ray Stewart who scored 80 plus goals for West Ham in 400 games was a prolific goal scorer?

Nice topical reference there, a bloke who left West Ham 31 years ago
Where are we heading with this one?
answer?
What are your thoughts on James Bidgen who played for West Ham between 1901 and 1904? Because I'm sure he's very relevant to the Godden v Walker debate.
Is that Ray Stewart?

Very poor judgement, MR has a great track record, but Walker is one he got wrong, and it hasn't helped that Walker is a fucking lazy c**t.Robins wanted to sign Walker ahead of Godden and then signed him anyway when the chance came for a higher fee.
Poor judgement in your view?
I don't think anyone is saying they "don't count" but if you want to make a genuine like for like comparison it is best practice to omit them. One player having significantly more free shots at goal with an almost 80% probability of scoring will naturally skew the numbers.
By all means look at their penalty records separately
The fact that Godden is more trusted to hit the back of the net from 12 yards out shouldn't be used against him.
To be fair Walker seemed a sensible signing. He was young and proven at L1/L2 level and a fair amount of experience at Champ level. There was every chance he developed and became a more valuable and valued asset.Very poor judgement, MR has a great track record, but Walker is one he got wrong, and it hasn't helped that Walker is a fucking lazy c**t.
