Worcester maybe going into admin before being bought out, the closed shop the RFU have caused is ridiculous, if they gave out more money to championship clubs it would be so much more competitive. Teams like Ealing, Cornish Pirates, Cov etc would be chomping at the bit for promotion, the stupid requirement of a 10000 all seater stadium don't help at all one bit.
Yeah I'd employ their fundraiser in a flash! It's not going well for them is it. Saying that, I'm impressed with how much public money Wasps seem to be able to screw out of the council/WMCA...

Probably difficult to find investors to build a hotel in these COVID times and all the bond furore wouldn't have helped. It's not going well for them is it. Saying that, I'm impressed with how much public money Wasps seem to be able to screw out of the council/WMCA...

yep on the junk yard. Wanted to have a Marriott and Macdonalds as well. Council said out of the centre and traffic issues.Didn’t they block another hotel being built in the area so that the London side could build one?

Junk yard, junk bond...yep on the junk yard. Wanted to have a Marriott and Macdonalds as well. Council said out of the centre and traffic issues.
But nothing seems to be bothering them though, they owe money left right and centre, can't afford a pitch but are signing a few players and cracking on with the season aheadIt gets better and better…
It has nothing to do with the bond though, whatever happens they still owe £35m +other loansCant wait till the bond holders see this on the bond site!!!
I agree but more bad news to the bond holders only increases the focus on London wasps financial position. It has nothing to do with the bond though, whatever happens they still owe £35m +other loans
And that’s why there in the shit…But nothing seems to be bothering them though, they owe money left right and centre, can't afford a pitch but are signing a few players and cracking on with the season ahead
Wouldn't they just form a new company and have a golden share whilst their old companies are liquidatedI'm no financier, but, wouldn't two fcked up companies getting into bed with each other just result in an even more fcked up company?
Just seems odd to me, but in a world of Brexit, Old Etonians, and 'offshore', I guess nothing is out of the ordinary.

Hopefully it means he wants out of Coventry full stop rugby club and allSome Bondholders ( and Drunken Wasps ) were led to believe this was a WASPS asset
But when the first licence ran out it was reissued to a Richardson associated company instead. Notice it refers to Mr Richardson ... missing out
Hopefully it means he wants out of Coventry full stop rugby club and all
Unless the merger was based on Wasps moving to Worcester and the arena etc sold to satisfy the bondholders.I'm no financier, but, wouldn't two fcked up companies getting into bed with each other just result in an even more fcked up company?

Works for me.Unless the merger was based on Wasps moving to Worcester and the arena etc sold to satisfy the bondholders.
kind of ironic in that Worcester weren't happy with Wasps moving into the area in the first place - youth recruitment and poaching supportersUnless the merger was based on Wasps moving to Worcester and the arena etc sold to satisfy the bondholders.
Poor old WASPS fans. I don’t think Wycombe fans would move even further. The plastic neutrals who go at the moment certainly wouldn’t. Anyway, what dumbass suggested this?Unless the merger was based on Wasps moving to Worcester and the arena etc sold to satisfy the bondholders.
They don't comment on commercial matters only when it suits them
They've gave a new contract to a veteran ex 34 year old worcester player nearing the end of his career so probably now on less money and some trialist who is to be loaned to a championship clubBobby on the PR fight back
