Been saying the same over the last few weeks.....Told you all the council still had their fucking snouts in the trough
This is the parting shot
Ensuring SISU dont get it. Again

But it's not like they didn't understand the concept of a prepack and the need to take time to set it up...... its pretty much what happened in 2014 when they moved ccfc to otium.
Also in all the recent discussions the prospect of it never came up ???
More inclined to believe they simply haven't got access to the funds
Well that's my point. They were hoping for a situation where the debt was mostly if not totally wiped.

That's the other thing, do we think Ashley is going to pay all of ACL's debts off?
If he is, why did he let it go into admin?
Which was never going to happen and even if it did how would they have ever managed the investment to support running costs
No, it looks like he’s agreed to buy the lease pre admin. The council would need to ratify the transfer. Then ACL goes under. That's the other thing, do we think Ashley is going to pay all of ACL's debts off?

It wasn’t built exclusively for CCFC but wouldn’t have been built at all were it not for CCFC. It was primarily built for the football club.Matter for admin but then admitted reeves had been involved.
Sisu can bid, but there’s already a preferred bidder.
Said he didn’t know who the preferred bidder was (bollocks)
Selling to Wasps wasn’t a mistake
Stadium wasn’t built exclusively for CCFC

So he's paying 35m for the lease from the bond holders? No, it looks like he’s agreed to buy the lease pre admin. The council would need to ratify the transfer. Then ACL goes under.
I tell you what if we come out with the stadium and club combined having broke away from paying a silly amount of rent in a ground we don't own I will go as far to say it's been worth it. I have also enjoyed the success and the good brand of football that has been built. She could go out on a sort of high, reunited the club and stadium and back in the championship, if I'm honest the last 5 years have been brilliant, we've tasted a bit of success winning trophies albeit in the lower leagues
Yeah she was told 10 days ago it was going into admin unless a buyer was found… she opted to wait too longWhen Wasps took the lease from CCC, Sisu (apparently) weren't given the same opportunity. Has anyone contacted Joy to let her know of the current opportunity before it's too late?
Or whatever figure they’ve agreed to remove their charge (like a bank would on a mortgaged house)So he's paying 35m for the lease from the bond holders?
You are correct she’s an ogress. Not that joy would tell me. My own opinion is that she’s enjoyed the last few years of robins but that she’s getting on and is probably tired of the hassle and this may be an opportunity to get out having righted at least some of the wrongs from the previous decade. She’s not an ogre.
Or whatever figure they’ve agreed to remove their charge (like a bank would on a mortgaged house)
If it’s £35m then the Trustee Bondholders would obliged to remove their charge. Mortgage paid off if you like. You can sell your house to who you like - bomb it - whatever. Your house.
If it’s less, the Trustee to BH must agree to remove. It could be 1% or 99% but they hold the charge. Until it’s “satisfied” then the charge remains - the bank holds your deeds.
It depends what the Trustee Bondholders want.
My guess is that MA has hit £35m plus Compass charge amount meaning that BH get their money and the lease has no “mortgage”
£35-£40m might be the right number for the arena complex. Derby ground was £20m without hotels etc. maybe £40m works fit Ashley.
I can’t, I’d imagine he’s offered maybe 20p in the £ and the trustee has accepted, couldn’t raise the funds to market and therefore best deal they could getWhich then begs the question, is it really worth £35 to £40m? If it is, why the big struggle to refinance using it as security?
I know it's all speculation at the minute but I can't see him paying full whack to clear the debts.
As I’ve said before: I doubt he’ll be taking on full debts since there could be cross claims involving Wasps etc.Which then begs the question, is it really worth £35 to £40m? If it is, why the big struggle to refinance using it as security?

You mean you've not covered it? Great! You had one job. Well, if this all goes south, we know who to blameWho’s on headed paper duty. It’s an angle we’ve not considered guys.
Not really much from joy to be fair. Just titbits of interesting times and no news etc. as I say I’ve no doubt any exclusive info would be shared through reputable channels not some 51 year old bloke who reached out once to have a chatThey are dripfeeding to certain individuals, albeit through a go between
Isn't it as simple as there were 20 days of NOI where they could have got involved but didn't because it wasn't obvious any more that Ashley was in after first talking to Wasps nearly two months ago? That's the thing, it's all guesses from bits of info that is all seemingly from one side at the minute...
I have no idea if they put a bid in, I have no idea who else put bids in or has been in touch since administration. All anybody has heard is Mike Ashley is preferred.
Honestly, I hope they haven't bid and that somebody who has is lined up to take over the club. I am just saying we only really have limited information about who has bid etc. Seemingly most of it coming from the council side....

You can’t actually bomb it / burn it. It’s still arson even if it’s your own house.Or whatever figure they’ve agreed to remove their charge (like a bank would on a mortgaged house)

To answer first bit, HSBC were in effect refinancing the whole of ACL with just the arena as security with other charge holders etc. MessyWhich then begs the question, is it really worth £35 to £40m? If it is, why the big struggle to refinance using it as security?

You can tell he is lying, he is spinning in his fucking chair FFS.
Where was Saddles comment about being blindsided...? Didn't see that.
I did however say, it would be very council like to be "more forthcoming " on the surface, but still being the "until he'll freezes over" version of themselves behind the scenes.. it was obvious...

Doesn't bode well for our new stadium, does it? I'm starting to worry that might not be a genuine plan...But it's not like they didn't understand the concept of a prepack and the need to take time to set it up...... its pretty much what happened in 2014 when they moved ccfc to otium.

“The Council” is a machine. The machine operators are lunatics - if you haven’t worked that out already.Bit concerned the Council still would rather play politics with the football club rather than allow it to secure it's long term future.
