I'm still waiting for what CCC have dinner to shaft SISU apart from not shafting creditors and not handing a lease to them without question.

Allusion, inference, smoke and mirrors, but still nothing concrete apart from a predisposition to not like local authorities.
Talking to Mike Ashley and not sisu / ccfc

So they went to CCC for what, exactly? Saddlebrains was saying SISU were hiding their bid from CCC! And we're also waiting for admin.

If SISU aren't telling CCC anything and are keeping things from them, what do you expect CCC to do?
I suppose bottom line I want them to do anything they can to ensure a successful ccfc

They were talking about getting games on as boddy has explained in the programme notes then things went quiet. Anyway as many have said lots of moving parts, different people only get given tit bits of info to suit the person saying it’s agenda and as we stand acl are not in admin yet.
Seems madness to have separate owners of arena to the football club so we need parties to get deals done to support the job mr av and the players are doing

But you can interpret saddlebrains' post as SISU playing silly buggers again. I just don't see what CCC can do if they're not given a clue how they can help. They can't even help with buying ACL, that's down to offering an appropriate amount of money for it.

Charitably, they can help with linked projects... but if they're hidden from them, they can't!

It boils down to if they're willing or able to pay enough for ACL at the end of the day, and they haven't even shown their hand on that as they were waiting for administration before making a move... which may well not have been good enough anyway!

What is needed, if they haven’t already, is for Joy to start talking to Big Mike over a sale.

That would be the administrator that has been appointed, you say they’re not in admin yet, that’s incorrect - they went in last Tuesday - after the bid was accepted.

and on top of that they don’t own it - worst outcome here is whoever owns ACL.

We’re still waiting to hear how CCC have screwed SISU here?

Can you tell who the administrator is then if he has been appointed

Agree with your comments about Byng/CCC. From his comments Byng appears to be suggesting the council forfeit the lease even though this was an asset that Wasps creditors (bondholders) had security over…for the councils own benefit ?!

I don’t know the legalities of being able to do this with this long lease, however, I’d imagine it would be challenged by an administrator/secured creditors in court

He’s right about the issues with dilapidations and the ideal being issuing a new lease etc, however, if CCC forfeited the current long lease I guess the dilapidations would become the councils obligation/issue unless they could subsequently pass them onto a new owner via a new lease. What happens if everyone suddenly told them to ‘piss off’ ?! I presume the current situation is for the new owner (Ashley ?) to pick up current long lease which minimises CCC involvement/risk of dilapidation costs and further endless legal wrangles.

Who knows though, you wonder if the preferred bidder might still want CCC to pick up some structural repairs or want to amend the existing lease ?! This is for them to sort out and is probably why CCC are actively involved rather than some anti SISU/CCFC masterplan.

Ps as you’ve indicated the stadium ceased to be a ‘public asset’ when the council sold it/long lease to Wasps so fuck knows what he’s banging on about there
