You seem to have forgotten that TF shook on a new deal only for JS to spit the dummy and take us down the admin route. So admin didn't really save us from the old rent. JS just didn't like the way TF had already got us out of it and came up with a different plan. So even the thin thread you're clinging to to try and polish the turd that was our administration is misnomer.
You do know and remember, but seem to be trying to twist the truth to make SISU sound better. I don't understand why you do it because SISU are not our club. SISU don't own our club. They run it for their investors. And they don't care about any of us supporters.
But here we go yet again. There was an agreement between Higgs and SISU that if the sale didn't go through SISU would pay 29k towards the Higgs legal fees. It fell through. We all know why as well. Higgs took legal advice. They were advised to take legal action. And being a charity they had no choice but to take legal action. But SISU being SISU welcomed the legal action. They wasted a lot of our clubs money so they didn't have to pay just the 29k as agreed. And counter sued for 290k which was a piss take. And it seems like they did it just to try and distress Higgs even more.
So what excuse do you have ready for them continuing the litigation instead of concentrating of securing the Ricoh long term?
Remind me of who took who to court in this scenario?
(And the counter claim out of order would never have been out forward had the original claim not been made)

Ah ha. But it came to light during the JR that that that rent deal only lasted 3 years then returned to £1.3m.

But the judge ruled no payout should take place because the breakdown had not occurred for one of three reasons - if Sisu had withdrawn from the negotiations, or taken up an unreasonable position, or if they had broken down because of a third party.
Mr Justice Leggatt pointed to the fact the charity knew the city council would not consent to any deal involving SISU buying the Higgs' share in ACL - something it would need to do before any agreement was made - while SISU had already carried out due diligence on ACL and concluded it was worth much less than the £5.5m mooted.
He said the deal had failed by the end of August 2012.

And this isn't sticking up for sisu, this what a Judge concluded. You and Tony might like to muddy the facts a bit. They didn't pay the £29k because it didn't meet the conditions to pay the £29k as agreed by a bloody Judge - or are you saying that the Judge is wrong and has lied? Yes higgs legal advice advised them to pursue it, but we can't use that as taking money from some kid sat in poverty in Coventry.
Sisu are cunits, I want them gone, but feck me let's stick to the facts.

Good idea. Lets stick to the facts.
SISU used 8 legal people IIRC. It cost a big six figure sum trying to get out of paying Higgs the 29k as agreed. Are you saying it was a good move by them now?
It burned bridges as much as anything else that they have done. Are you saying this was a good idea?
They could have paid the 5.5m and got rid of ACL. That is what the road map was all about. But it was all about the freehold. They took us to Northampton to try and devalue the Ricoh. We are now back so that failed. Fisher is still coming out with his shit. Now we have the Wasps thing going on. Was all of this a good idea?
I suppose you can now say that I am on the side of ACL. That is the normal comeback. Not my fault that I can see how much they have made us suffer for no reason.
You have to be walk on egg shells these past few days, for fear of either being called an ACL lover or a hypocrite.
Just a point of note. There is a petition for Wasps to stay 'in or around London' (sounds like a Fisher soundbite that). Peition has been in place for 7 days now.
It has 234 signatures. 234 signatures in 7 days.
Just saying, like.
Seems like Cov rugby are already aware of the situation and are talking in terms of a merger. Maybe CCFC fans are more outraged than Wasps fans. Maybe CCFC fans are outraged on behalf of Wasps fans and Cov rugby fans. What altruistic fans we've got here.
Group hug and pats on the back all round.
Like you said, it's like walking on eggshells at the moment.
Is the Wasps petition a paper or online petition? If it's online could you put a link up. Perhaps we could start getting the numbers up.
P.S. ACL lover.
Surely cardoza was doing it for the money?I was told over 2 years ago a senior Rugby Union club were looking at playing at the Ricoh on a regular basis, posted that on here. Thought at the time it was Saracens but looks like perhaps it was Wasps. Now was this the reason the Sixfields thing happened backed by the Northampton Town chairman, think about it, does he have a vested interest in Northampton Saints RFC for example, a Cov/Wasps alliance on their doorstep might not be to their liking or his, one current massive club and one old time big club lots of potential there. The whole Sixfields thing never made financial sense to me, there had to be other reasons. One thing for certain all this hasn't just happened and has been on the table for ages imo.
Ah ha. But it came to light during the JR that that that rent deal only lasted 3 years then returned to £1.3m.

Wrong again. Are you a WUM?
The train station at the ricoh will be a major factor in this.
It will make it easily acessable to many people.
SISU will not be worried they are building another ground rememberit does not affect them in any way shape of form.
You appear to be calling SImon gilbert a WUM

Surely cardoza was doing it for the money?
That was just a quick tweet that didn't explain the situation.
Ok i thought this was explained a million times but one more won't hurt. "The rent deal was for 3 years and would be reevaluated to current market rate dependant on league and financial and economical climate. For arguements sake it will return to no more than the 1.3 deal already in place"
So it was never going to return to 1.3 it was used merely as a figure to end a debate and to sign the new rent deal.
To say it only lasted 3 years and then returned to 1.3 shows a complete lack of understanding of the situation as it just didn't.
SISU were never going to return to Ricoh on a rental deal.
The language changed from build to own a stadium.
Now the club are back - initially on a 2 year deal....
There has been a shift in the approach - The comments suggest a change whilst trying to publicly save as much face as possible.
Surely the logical step for everyone would ultimately be for CCFC to secure long term partnership and maybe even ownership of the Ricoh.
ACL remember were the company that rebuffed SISU's attempt to distress them, and we've been repeatedly told that they can survive as a long term business without the club (whether you believe that or not).So why sell to Wasps? They are now potentially going to do the same thing as Northampton did.. who they tried to sue. The actions of CCFC were derided by them.
I'm sorry if i'm not fawning at the idea of ACL making sure that they are OK. They have claimed to 'have the best interests of the club at heart'. The whole things smacks of double standards and hypocrisy.
Bear in mind that ACL would not exist to this day if it were not for CCFC.
if it suits their argument, of course those comments don't exist. So now the Fisher comments don't exist?
You've just quoted something that says the rent would be bumped up to no more than £1.3million.
In terms of a lack of understanding and WUMming...
Sorry I forgot you are the knowledge of all things. Congratulations
Well, you're setting yourself up thusly, and shouting WUM and WRONG.
It's often interesting to see who does bang on about that...
What contracts are Wasps breaking?
You have to be walk on egg shells these past few days, for fear of either being called an ACL lover or a hypocrite
Manipulating the actual facts of what people said was hypocricy to suit your position, no wonder you are getting on so well with Tony.
I explained fully the principle of what i felt was hypocritical, but you seem to have missed that point to spin it your way. Not a politician are you Otis
Wasn't aimed at you in particular Moff. Been several people talking of hypocrisy on here lately.
Hahaha. You have tried to keep out of it all by telling people who think differently that they are wrong, which is based on you standing on your soapbox. Classic.
Completely incorrect.
Read my post. Was talking about the finances and litigation etc. You show me one single post where I talk about such and such owing this and who did what to who or what the judge did or didn't say, or how much money is owed to whom and when etc.
I always, always keep out of that. Don't ever get involved because I don't feel we either know all the facts, or are experienced enough in the field to make comments on all the facts.
So 2 completely different things. Was just saying that a lot of the financial talk on here is guesswork and then am saying that a lot of the stuff about Wasps is guesswork too.
Nothing 'classic' about it at all. You just misread my post that's all.
I deleted the post, as I read it again, and wasn't happy with it, and dont wish to fall out with you about it.
Have just edited my post to make it more Moff friendly too.
