Is that because Martin Reeves is going to Oxford Council as chief executive? Coincidence or related?

Told last night, wasps wanting to relocate to Oxford. Kassam Stadium. Similar to us in terms of politics
Hope the people of Oxford, including their council, see them for what they are and send them packing.

I thought Reeves going to Oxford was a joke!!
Similar to the Kevin Kyle transfer in many ways. "Haha yes yes good one, of course we're spending money on Kevin Kyle.... oh wait, you're serious!"

Well with his six figure pay-off to supplement his new six figure salary no wonder he’s smiling, perhaps he’s having the last laugh at us all.

Was he pushed or did he choose to go, if it was the later why does he get a pay off he isn’t going to spend anytime out of work on garden leave or such things.

They operate in a different world to most of us. These people get pay-offs, he wasn’t officially sacked was he.

They will be rattling around in there could be quite embarrassing, hopefully they have to change in a broom cupboard somewhere and play at terrible kick off times.

It would be an odd thing to do. Surely from day one they'd be losing money. They were rattling round in the there playing in the Premiership with thousands of free tickets available, it will be totally dead in the Championship.

Why would anyone from Cov go and watch them and not CRFC if they want to watch championship rugby. The excuse that was always given by the few locals that went was 'top class rugby' but that doesn't apply now.

You only have to take a quick look at their forums to see even their own supporters don't want to see them playing here again.

I wouldn't be surprised if they end up staying but like you say, I just cannot see it working?
Can't see Mike Ashley/Fraser Group doing them a special favour with stupidly low rent, and attendances are going to be at a record low so surely they'll be back to massive losses again?

It’d be a bit of extra money for them though that could increase once they got promoted. He’s held talks about taking them over before so it’s not going to be unlikely, IMO.

We will never know what handshakes went on to ensure MA ended up as the preferred bidder.

As long as provisions are made for the pitch damage they’ll cause, and we’re given primacy due to us likely being the higher payer. Id put up with it.

Make them change in the shit dressing room aswell

I'm genuinely surprised after it has been proven comprehensively that the public in this area is not interested in them
Hard for FG to justify 2 levels of rent for same level of service.
New Wasps aren't going to able to give away the large number of free tickets their predecessor did.
This season showed the "fanbase" with averages attendance of 8k and that was boosted by Northampton bringing a decent away support apparently.
Burnt a lot of "goodwill" with local businesses with the liquidation.
