Don't mean to be picky, but haven't people said that most of us want to see Wasps struggle here so that it makes more sense for CCFC to remain?
Therefore if Wasps keep losing and the crowds drop that may possibly benefit CCFC.
Just saying like.
Wasps results could well indeed affect CCFC's future here.
If wasps show any signs that they are beginning struggle then we will enter a new 5-6 six year plan consisting of......
Keeping our costs as low as possible and trying to get to break even. Making life harder for wasps anyway we can eventually leading to us getting kicked out (which will suit our plan as it means we no longer contribute or help the wasps business model in anyway.) we will do all this hoping wasps have to sell up ACL.
This 5-6 years for the fans will be terrible and like the last plan it won't work.
The best thing the club could do now is for some sort of alliance with wasps cutting our costs by doing so wherever we can. Also as part of the alliance get as much access to revenues as we can. Support each other to be as successful as possible so those revenues increase.
Unfortunately IMO that is the only solution for CCFC. However it is not a solution that suits our owners as it would stabilise the club but it would not lead to a club or assets that could be sold for 20-30 million.
Hence I personally hope wasps are really successful and make a killing. I hope our owners accept there is no possibility of ACL going out of business. I hope they come clean regarding the unfeasibility of building a new stadium.
I hope they decide to cut their loses and sell the business to someone who can form a partnership with wasps.
