This isn't business Grendel, this is Sky Blues Talk. You appear to be asking a poster to have access to CCFC files or MR's personal correspondence? Are you ok?

Confidentiality agreements are fairly common, it has to be said.

Didn't even see that post from Grendel.

TF said he has involved MR in the plans for club regarding rent and stadium ownership.

SISU would be very naive if they did not say to MR in leaving CCFC that he signs a confidentiality clause.

When MR was asked what assurances did he seek he said he won't go into detail.

I genuinely did not expect a word from MR about the council rent or anything else.

He discussed his reasons for leaving at a very public press conference. People are clutching at straws as he did not give the answers he liked. If he signed an agreement it would be no comment.

Ash down and sky blue John have made suggestions he has been paid to make positive comments about the board.

He said I was saying SISU out.

I have been criticising them and the way they conduct their business.
If there was an alternative then great.
However just because there isn't one doesn't mean I should not criticise SISU for the way they conduct business.

Personally I think they have contributed to us a very good manager via the way they are handling the rent negotiations.

I also feel they have hit ACL and the council mid trust rusting them massively.

Which takes us further away from stadium ownership.

I'll say one thing with regards to Robins interview...At the very end of it he said....."I've joined a Club that is "Investing"....Not rocket science as to what he meant is it?

But they are championship club, their financial fair play rules are based on the amount of addition owner resources spent (ie loses), we're bound by a % of our footballing income.

But you did suggest that.

we all know fish and wagg like a bit of spin. Now if you work in certain circles if someone hands in their notice a thing called an exit strategy is used.
Obviously they tried to get MR to stay but once they had to accept he wanted to leave they would have discussed his exit strategy.
That is the reason why he cleared his desk that day.
Also they would have discussed what he would say to the media afterwards.

And when I questioned if people were actually being serious about Robins being paid to make nice:

If you read my two posts above they say nothing about being paid to keep quiet.
When he signed his contract when joining five months ago it is highly likely that confidentiality would be in the contract. This would cover also when he left.
ffs can the pair of you not read !!!!!!

You said "they'll discuss what he said to the media afterwards"

This is very different to a confidentiality agreement. This implies fisher and waggott (named in your post) would tell him what to say about the board and to put the board in a positive light. He would only do this if there was a financial incentive.

Care to explain what you really meant?

Exit stratagies common practice to cause minimal damage to the company the person is leaving.
So things like clearing his desk before speaking to huddersfield so as to cause less embarresment coming back.
He would have been reminded what he was and wasn't allowed to divulge based on the contract which he would have signed five months ago.

John, whilst I respect your opinion, Robins is nothing more than a greedy mercenary who has no idea what the word loyalty means. He couldnt wait to double/triple his wages and treated us the fans like mugs.

I dont believe there is any confidentiality agreement, just a lowdown snake trying to wriggle out of the fact he is a greedy fekker.

I all seriousness while I have got you.

Do you now see the dangers if the this rent saga dragging on.
Nothing good comes if it. We look like idiots.
We look skint and open to poaching.
Staff be it managers, physios whatever.
Will put it as a factor when they make decisions whether to stay or go.
I am not saying it will be the only of most important factor but it is a factor.
SISU are trying to hold out for an extra 18 grand a month.

Is that worth losing the likes if Robins.

Is it worth us appearing in the news under headlines.

Pay up or sell up. .

Can you tell me who the next owner of Swindon Town will be please?

If there is no one currently interested does that mean the current owners are stuck there for the next 2.5 billion years when the earth (including Wiltshire) will be consumed by the sun?

None of this is a factor in Robins leaving, absolutely nothing to do with it. Mark Robins played us and people should wake up and direct the anger where it should be aimed out.

Tell you want he really meant Don. He meant;

"I'm only interested in Mark Robins. If Coventry got to Wembley and promotion Mark Robins will get a big job in the summer as Mark Robins will have achieved the impossible - a succesful season at Coventry. As Mark Robins was not going to get that Mark Robins had better do something quick. Being only interested in Mark Robins I will jump to the offer that pays the best salary. It's Huddersfield"

Mark Robins wants the Leeds job. I am sure in the summer Huddersfield will not be giving assurances as we didn't, as Barnsley didn't as Rotherham didn't........

Face it we've been used.

Well we don't know for sure either way - but MR himself stated that off-field issues played a part (not that I take it as gospel from him). I don't blame SISU directly for him leaving, but it must have been one of the factors at work, albeit not the decisive one that he used as an excuse

How wrong do you want to be Grendel/torch/ SBT etc. Could MR state any plainer that the rent dispute and the owners (SISU) are the reason he left?
It is exactly as Don stated - how can you question this? How many people said that one moment everything seemed fine, then he had a meeting with Dear Joy and suddenly he is gone! Well - here is MR himself absolutely confirming what happened and why:

“It was a considered decision,” said Robins, who alluded to the current rent dispute between the club and Arena Coventry Ltd – the owners of the Ricoh Arena.
“I spoke to the owner, I sought assurances and didn’t get any assurances from the owner of Coventry,” he said as he was unveiled today as the Terrier’s fifth manager in as many years

No I cant and neither do I care, some twat from Banbury probably.

Did I say we would never get a new owner ever? No, what I am pointing out as you well know is that currently there doesnt seem to be a huge number of potential investors, well unless you believe in the Tooth Fairy Hoffman, so when I say for the fifty billionth time 'who do we sell to' I mean now, as in the present, as there isnt anyone.
