Wembley Allocation (1 Viewer)

The thing is Macca in those 25 years we have gone from being a top flight club playing the top teams year in year out, to a 3rd division side who have had little or nothing to shout about.

Personally, I never got to see us play at Wembley (Damn you Old Man!!!) and it really is a dream to see us play there. For me, and many others, to see Cov at Wembley really would be the pinnacle regardless of what cup it is and who it is against.

I think you are underestimating slightly just how many people would go to this game. If you think 11.5k went to Old Trafford in midweek to watch us in the Carling Cup I can certainly see triple that going to Wembley on a Saturday to see us in with a chance of actually winning something!!

I hope we do take loads. But if you look at the fans we took along the way in the FA CUP v our attendances in the JPT I'm not sure. Still we need to get there first

True and a few seem to be counting their chickens before they've hatched but I just think the chance to see Cov at Wembley (new Wembley as well which I am sure loads haven't been to) will see masses travel.

We are not even at Wembley yet. We have to beat crewe first.

Its not a given we will beat them, feet on the ground time. They have already beat us 1-0 this year.

Look forward to it only when we book our place.

If we get there we will sell out whatever allocation we get and more it's on April 7th the back end of Easter week, loads of mums, kids, etc,i know a few saying they are going, a family outing . Gate in 1987 was 88000 and we took well over 60k there was a huge bank of City in the terracing in front of the Everton supporters .I was talking to Evertonians that day who couldn't believe the amount of City at that game.

Utter bollocks.

Randoms talking about getting to Wembley on a message forum will have no bearing on whether we get to the final or not.

If you think Crewe fans aren't thinking the same you are mad.

The crewe players won't need any motivation to do their best to get to wembley, nore would they take any motivation from a few of us talking anyway.

It would be nice if us talking could influence a football game but we can't. It's not possible for us to jinx us, the only bearing we will or can have is to go to the game, sing our hearts out and maybe just maybe that will provide a minute advantage.

Interested to know if your opinion has altered?

Our "initial" allocation has already been set at 41,000 less then Southampton (44,000)!!http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif
I also understand in the past they been very loathe to increase allocation, and preferred 20,000 unused seats.
Did we not have 60,000 for the charity shield, Everton were playing Wembley every year and took little interest in the game.

It will mean we will have the premium seats on middle tier along the opp side to the players entrance.

There will be no problem in selling this amount.
