Wembley disappointment (1 Viewer)

What nearly spoiled a magnificent day were the youngsters giving it large inside the arena on the forecourt. Singing and dancing like whirling dervishes and having a riotous time even before the game had kicked off. It was great to see until I heard them chanting for Tommy Robinson. I thought maybe I'd got it wrong but I hadn't. Plenty of support from minority communities and they have to damage all that feel good community spirit. Ironically enough something similar happened in 87 queuing for the tube and some idiots in front of me making gratuitous anti Pakistani comments because some children were peering at us from their bedroom window. Shame on them. Had to get it off my chest. It was a wonderful day and a lead in to a close season of rare hope and anticipation.PUSB

Don't let it get you down. When your think we had nearly 40,000 fans there you are always going to get a handful of idiots.

It's the tiniest fraction of our support.

Treated ourselves to Club Wembley and expectations were exceeded. Wonderful experience and made the day very special

Yeah we did as well. Took my dad to Crewe and we had dickheads next to us making anti-Irish comments. To be fair they toned it down when my dad started speaking but managed to get them back when we scored ;)

Ambled onto Luton's forum (if you can call it that - it's a goddam awful layout) and there was a whole Tommy Robinson support thread on there - cringeworthy. A few tried to look at getting it moved onto twitter (i.e not happy about it being on forum), but it really leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. Doesn't necessarily represent their fanbase, but their forum seems hijacked by the 'dark side'

How is he racist?

Because he demonises a whole group of people based on untruths and stereotypes which is text book racism.

Also don't claim that Muslims aren't a race as the religious hatred act 2006 says it is racism.

Also what good is he doing? He's been found in contempt of court, you do realise that actions by far right groups almost caused a mistrial in the Rochdale grooming case? What good are his actions doing?

He has every right to question the practices of a religion that incites hatred.

You don’t think he preaches hatred !
Islam incites hatred .....really How’s that work then ?
Do you normally stand up for known thugs who continually break the law with a list
Of previous convictions as long as your ‘outstretched arm performing a Hitler salute.

Your wasting your time mate, it’s far easier for people to jump on a anti Tommy Robinson bandwagon than to actually come out and say what it is he actually said that’s untrue.
Words like racist, and bigot, get banded around because the uneducated masses can’t cope with what’s really happening under their noses.
Just ask them how Muslims deal with homosexuals.
Just ask them how they treat women.
Just ask them what the fundamentalists plan to do with all non Muslims.

And before anyone starts, I’m no supporter of tommy Robinson or any political ideology. I just struggle to disagree with what he says.
