Ah the Summer of 76, jogging around delivering milk on the weekends, the excellent Joan Armatradings Love and Affection ringing out from the van and the Sun beating down. Followed by a couple of Cold Lagers in Canley Club as we finished.Afternoon delight by The Starland vocal band,Reminds me of my youth in that hot summer of 76!
Just before the Great punk Explosion!

I'm gonna give this a listen because I love 'Roadrunner' but have never really took much notice of their other stuff.A classic
Heard the brilliantly emotive Sunshine on Leith tonight.
That and their cover of My Old Friend the Blues give them a different flavour to their more Stompy anthemic hits.
They really could be my cousins.
I went to see them in the Acoustic tent at Glasto in 2015 (on my own because the people I was with obviously have no taste) not only the highlight of my Glasto that year but one of the best live bands I have ever seen, I will admit, I got a little emotional when hearing 'Sunshine On Leith' played live.
I've never really noticed, but now you mention it, they are strikingly similar?
