He's been poor and slow , had the ball near the end passing it square and then out of touch.Pressure of the armband?? Lati was the only one trying to gee them up at the last couple of corners, give him the chance to step up.
Sheaf might do much better without having to be the focal point.
I'm now why that that's a plus? It means less money coming into the club to reinvest when we do sell. Can't work out what's going on with Sheaf at times recently. Looks half the footballer he was previous seasons. On the plus side, probably playing himself out of a big move.
Slow and cautious , the pace of a snail.I'm sure half of it is the instructions, some of the passes he's making looks like he's being told to be conservative. He was at his best last season when Robins gave him a bit more of a license to get forward and drive with the ball.
That said we should move him on, if only to remove the latest scapegoat for every poor team performance.
Doesn’t shoot when the shot’s on but sends comically over hit balls to the back post instead. Bloke is the worst captain we have had here since 2017Doesn't trust what's behind him,
Nothing on in front of him.
Nothing working either side of him.
Having more touches to look for a pass, trying to do a bit too much - see above points.
Perfect storm of above points and possibly being denied a move in the summer.

You've hit the nail on the headWhat's wrong with Sheaf?
He went from having Callum Doyle, Fadz, Mcnally behind him while having Hamer and O'Hare around him.
To now having Joel, Bobby behind him and Torp and Eccles around him aka the chuckle brothers.
It really isn't rocket science, we had a top side that was full of quality. We have a shit team now.
I can only assume he was denied a move in the summer and it's gone downhill from there. He's droppable at this point, but I have a feeling that he will be close with Lampard.

Missed a lot of preseason, been playing through injury and is currently playing down to the level of the rest of the team.
Form is temporary, class is permanent.Just not the same player anymore.
You're right he hasn't been as good as perhaps people first thought. Hence why he is still playing for us.Yeah, and he's a shit player in a shit team. I don't buy into the "Poor Ben" field of thinking. Even when those better players were around him he was forever giving the ball away or misplacing passes.
He's never been as good as a few on here would have us believe.
Well.as Frank is a Tory maybe that's why he's instructed Sheaf to be conservative lol.You say that, but his absolute worst moments today were when he was trying to be less conservative.
I think mason Clark getting injured hasn’t helped and just as he was starting to find form and I think Frank needs to find a central midfielder in this window because sheaf and Eccles don’t dictate the play we need to find a ball player before our season completely blows up .Can't work out what's going on with Sheaf at times recently.
