Listen I don't know whether we'll sell him or not but it's not in our control (Leon Clarke being the perfect most recent example ), he engineered that move along with his agent.
In the past goalscoring HERO'S have been sold and none of us liked it, Terry Bly, George Hudson, Bobby Gould. I could go on and on but it's a fact of football life we have to contend with, as one door closes another one opens!
You've been missed, RFC
You have to look at the longer term bigger picture, for God's sake it's not rocket science, is it?
Really? Who said that?
“I think the only way you ever sell a player like Callum is if you restructure your squad in a way where Steven Pressley sees a stronger overall squad than just one player. That’s the only time you would commercially consider it, if the deal is so good that it allows you to have more depth and more options in the squad itself to give you a real push.“And that’s the critical point I would say about any negotiation of selling and buying players. Because if it means your squad, after all the transactions, is better than it was than if the player was in it.
“If it works then you get called a magician, and if it goes badly then you are called everything under the sun for selling him.”
Waggot:
Reasons we're out of Coventry are simple, we need to own run and control ALL revenue streams as FIFA FPR dictate we can only spend 60% of our gross turnover on player related payments ie: transfer fees, bonuses & wages.
Please get a grip.
Waggott the magician? I wish he could make SISU disappear. Or at least magic a kick up the arse for all involved including his own.

Lets also take a look at a few other SISU gems:
Ray Ranson - The football genius with all the know how in the game = .
I really do hope you're being ironic there.
He (Ransom) did have a deal for Andy Carroll tee'd up for 1m
And Jordan Henderson willing to sign after a loan spell...but when they were blocked by SISU he threw in his cards.
He has faults...but his football knowledge seems to outstrip the Waggott dealings, or do you disagree?

I wouldn't believe everything ranson said.....he also said we were debt free.
Also Bruce didn't want to sell Henderson who then went on to play a prominent part in Sunderlands first team - started 23/10 sub in PL, started 2 in FA cup and started 3 in carling cup that season

Funny how the same guy says we were debt free and is a bullshitter but everything else is gospel.
Fisher also said we're debt free. I take it you're admitting he's a bullshitter too?
No, it's not that. Nick thinks we were debt free. If TF said the same tomorrow he'd also take it as gospel.
A bit like when everyone proclaims everything that comes out of Fisher's mouth is bullshit. Mentions the word liquidation though and suddenly it becomes scripture.
Short term pain for long term gain!!!!!

Unfortunately taking all politics away from this we have to remember we are no longer a premier league club!! We sold our best players even when
we were top flight and did not reinvest all the money back into the team for gods sake!!!
We are now a league 1 club so forgetting the owners a player will want to better himself playing at a higher level for a much better salary, this is regardless
of where we are playing we sold players at Highfield Road and Ricoh Arena too.
The club has been leaking money - it was at the Ricoh and is at Northampton. Any player at this level has a commercial worth at which point he goes.
If we get 1.5milliom plus for Wilson it is inevitable he will go, Bradford sold Nakhi Wells for about that and don't see that money going into players for Bradford?
But why let the facts get in the way of another excuse for a sisu rant!!
I do not want Wilson to go but accept due to ambition, offers, club debts he is likely to be sold, I think this would still be occuring wherever we were playing though
given our current league status.
Brentford are lining up a move for Coventry City striker Callum Wilson.
Mark Warburton is busy trying to bolster his squad as the Bees prepare for life in the Championship.
The Bees boss was interested in signing Marcello Trotta on a permanent basis but has turned his attention elsewhere.
And the People report the west Londoners have joined the race for in-demand Coventry star Wilson.
The 22-year-old smashed 22 goals in 41 games for the Sky Blues last season, and is also wanted by Bournemouth and Norwich City.
So Ranson claims, however he also claimed we were debt free, almost as eye-watering as the interest he claimed from the club for his "loan".
He brought Sisu to the club, he spunked a load of money getting us nowhere, loaned Championship rivals money to buy players from his own Cayman based hedge-fund, employed and continued to employ Coleman, yet people think he's great?
Fucking hell.

Dongonzales we have had squad discussions before - I think even more so now we should have a maximum squad of 22 players (2 for each position ideally) including loans.
Unfortunately now at this level and given our finances a greater percentage of our back up will need to come from the academy, which may not be in the end a bad thing.
I think too unfortunately Bradford in better position than us financially, so although think some will go back into squad maybe not as much as some would hope for.
We will have to see.
I never said he was great but there is some evidence the deals were available and on the table and the reason why he resigned.
I see him as just another part of the multitude of SISU failings.
