Well, I'll treat 'SISU in!', with the contempt it deserves. The 'Damned if you don't, Damned if you do........... ' is a clear reference to SISU being criticised if they don't communicate (as in the stadium), but criticised if they do (as in tickets for a cup game), i.e. stating they're in a no-win situation. They're not. And to try and insinuate they are is distasteful in the extreme

No one has pointed this out as SISU being great at communications. In fact mostly the opposite including me - ie they are piss poor usually but got this one right. Of course we are all "SISU sycophants" though. Quite funny seeing all the hotheads squirming because facts have been proved greater than swivel eyed conspiracy bollocks.
You thought "sisu in" was serious??
Dear god
Some people just like to moan.
No. I thought it was tongue-in-cheek bravado from a poster who's myopic in their appraisal of our owners
I've just spoken to a "Ticket office salesperson" at "The Emirates" He confirmed CCFC sent back nearly 3k tickets(Which have now been sold to Arsenal fans)...Just for arguments sake, SISU state that any shortfall of tickets, costs would be passed on to fans.....So what are SISU worrying about then? It seems it wouldn't cost the owners anything. Please don't say they are "Thinking of the fans" nothing is further from the truth.
No one has, just people saying fair enough. But surprise surprise it's jumped on, to accuse posters of being pro sisu sycophants. Change the damn record.

Don't the club have to pay if they don't sell them all?
Have you ever heard of this sort of thing before Nick? Has anyone ever heard of this sort of thing before?
Sounds like another 'We are talking to two different local councils on building our new stadium' sort of statement without thinking anyone can find out the real truth to me.
Certainly has been jumped on.
Look at the certain posters that have posted. Look at the certain posters that have liked each others posts. Look at who has made arguments out of it. Me and who? What a shock. The usual suspects that make excuses for SISUE whatever they do or say.
So it isn't true?
So it isn't true?
Not saying it isn't but have never heard of a club having to pay for unsold tickets before. And I am sure that SISUE would have informed us about this the last time we played there if a top Prem side had charged us for unsold tickets.
They have fed us so much bullshit over the years they have been with us that I don't believe a word they say unless there is proof to go with it.
The Club would of had to of paid for all the unisold tickets, you don't just take a second batch and not pay for them if they aren't sold.
But if you're flying the flag of financial prudence, what if they had sold 2.5K of the additional allocation and sent 1K back, like they claim happened last time?
Wouldn't their share of the 2.5K additional tickets sold to CCFC fans covered any loss associated with the 1K return?
Could have fulfilled the criteria of financial prudence you laud, and kept more fans happy, no?

The same fans that made statements saying they wouldn't go?
The same fans that made statements saying they wouldn't go?
Good point. But they obviously made the decision that it wasn't worth the risk. The probably should have. But at least we aren't talking about wild conspiracy theories now.
You can't have it both ways, Nick. They sold out with a week to spare. Plenty of evidence that there was demand. I'm not saying they made the wrong call. Read back. Just saying that if as many people are so inherently anti-SISU as is claimed, this would be a valid point to raise. But they didn't....
What I suggest any CCFC fan should do is this:- Phone "The Emirates on 0207 6195000" Ask the same question that I did....Are my club liable for any shortfall in ticket sales! When asked if I was a Coventry City fan, to which I said yes. There was a lot of "Humm and Err" The guy on the phone said They didn't know the reason why we sent back our allocation of tickets......@ crowsnest...The cost of any shortfall in ticket sales would have to be bourne by the Club...Now I maybe wrong, but IMHO would say these "Shortfalls" would be covered by a rise in "STH prices going up" Prices on the gate "Going up" What about being charged "£5" for paying by Credit card for FA Cup tickets, League Cup tickets, in fact ANY f**king tickets!

So the club would of had to pay for any unsold tickets. Not sure what your saying with the rest of your comment tho ! are you saying they should add the charges onto other tickets if they hadnt of sold them ?

hill83.......................Just wtf is your point hill83? Do you expect every CCFC fan to take SISU's word on anything?.............................................My point is they sent CCFC Allocation back to Arsenal, a whole week before the game. We could have sent the extra tickets back by Wednesday or Thursday of THIS week, and Arsenal would still have sold them all before the end of Thursday....and to quote Grenduffy..."That's a FACT"
Yes PP the Club would of had to of paid for any unsold tickets from the second batch.
'Usual suspects'
