Would love to say 'Yes', but think the gap between the SISU valuation and the Council expectation will be too high, even if everything else was magically aligned (like what SISU would do with the freehold, what would happen to ACL, etc.).
No tactics are at play, SISU seem willing to buy the Ricoh, Council say not for sale, SISU look the innocent party back to square 1.
they are gonna buy a lego stadium for 20-30 million,
but want the ricoh for less than 10 million, as thats what they see its worth
er, NO DEAL
I don't see a deal on the horizon, as long as the team does well Seppala will feel she has a strengthening hand (and she may be right), and I expect more Legal and Press tactics like we've seen for the last year. The Council might get jumpy around election time next May, but I honestly doubt they're seeing mass pressure from voters.
I expect Sisu to hang on to next season if we get promoted, maybe another season if we're close. But if we drop off I expect fire sales and liquidation. This time last year things were looking up as well, and look how that went.
Out of interest, why is it a "valuation" from Sisu and an "expectation" from the Council?
Personal view, no we won't be back. We need to do everything we can as fans till the bitter end though. Btw the FL have said they'll look at the progress of the new stadium at the end of the season. What that means, who knows?

Erm, I have no idea what you're trying to say!
I think I used that phrase because SISU will claim they've done a valuation, I fear a rather low one. I think the Council's value will be based on at least what has been put in so far, money that they might reasonably 'expect' to recover. They'd also, not unreasonably imho, expect the value of the Ricoh to be above or at least around that of an off-the-shelf 12,000 seater stadium, I'd venture. On that basis I don't think they'll trouble themselves with a formal valuation, though I could easily be wrong on all points!
I still don't think SISU would liquidate the club as long as there's someone out there who would hand a reasonable amount of cold hard cash over to purchase it. That would be cutting your nose off to spite your face.
