Nothing. No offence to Mrs.Singtogether
I cant believe any football fan could honestly need to be sold the benefits of the Premier League over Championship football, its right there, Premiere League Football.Yes. Sell me the benefits of being in the Premier League then.

Seriously, as a fan?
Understand where he's
coming from, but it would be nice to give it a go again.
Lets face it nobody likes losing every week no matter what league your in.
It's a genuine question.Did you settle for the ugly one because the good looker might have been a bit too challenging?
I'm not taking about what the media say. As a fan attending matches how is the PL experience better?I cant believe any football fan could honestly need to be sold the benefits of the Premier League over Championship football, its right there, Premiere League Football.

Better playing Swansea at home than say Derby?
Convenient team choices... How about Man City than say Rotherham? Or Chelsea than say Brentford?
I've seen City play Chelsea and Man City more than the other teams you mention. As a City fan what is so great about playing them now?Convenient team choices... How about Man City than say Rotherham? Or Chelsea than say Brentford?
The marketing gurus have done a great job which I think is ferns point.
Crystal palace vs stoke
Burnley vs hull
West ham vs Sunderland
West brom vs Swansea
Leicester vs Qpr
Half the fixtures as above is hardly the best league in the world.
Its contributed to the worsening of the national team and pays obscene salaries to many mediocre players - it's certainly not the best league in the world
I always find it very strange on this subject when people seem so resentful of part time supporters that they would genuinely rather not have them there and would rather not see a full house. So self congratulatory are they about their `hard core` status that they cannot accept other peoples choices or what is best for the club.
32k at £5 a pop vs Crewe a game from Wembley. 4 days later 11k vs Yeovil in the league. #fairweather
It's not that I don't want City playing at the 'top' it's more about what the current top is and what it represents. The whole thing is overhyped in order to sell TV rights. The attending paying fan is an after thought.I've no argument with any of that. But Fern's point was that he would rather we rose no further than the championship and I cannot understand that stunted ambition. Its a little like taking up golf but deliberately trying to be a bit shit so you never have to play anyone really good.
Which are the great leagues, the ones where every week its a "big" game, played by "big" teams? The marketing gurus have done a great job which I think is ferns point.

34 years in the top flight with a cup win in the middle?Would you like to answer my earlier question first and tell me when these periods of fair weather occurred that our fairweather fans have been enjoying?
That is a fucking stupid comparison.
34 years in the top flight with a cup win in the middle?
Only in your opinion, just one of many examples. Try and chill-out and not to be so rude & offensive.
Football is all about opinions.
34 years in the top flight with a cup win in the middle?
The premier league according to scudamore and sky.
Could you try not to post silly remarks, this will avoid such responses.
Hype from Scudamore, when will he be strong enough to admisiter domestic points reduction to those
sides breaching FIFA - FFP rules?
IE. Man. City fined £49 million & enforced Champions League squad reduction (from 25 to 21).
They should have started this domestic season with at least a 3 or 6 point deduction for breaching those rules but unfortunately those running the game are in the pockets of their pay masters.
Tragic and it's gradually killing the game, as the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
Where will it end? In disaster IMHO!
Not silly, are you for real?
Now that I do agree with.
We all hear about how fans want to watch a winning team, win more games, the more enjoyable it is as a fan (to some extent regardless of the division).
Below is a list I come across of the long serving FL clubs points per game ratio over their history. Teams like Fleetwood etc aren't included as for a clear picture you need to see it over a long period. We don't fair well at all:
