It's madness he would get into trouble for saying anything about it.
Everybody in the stadium saw it![]()
Grimes saying that..
'We felt the same as 30,000 in that stadium '.

No he rewarded it with free kicksDidn't punish Burnley's persistant fouling, play acting and time wasting.
He should have doled out a few cards especially when our guys on the ball getting barged in the back.No he rewarded it with free kicks
Literally every player had their hand up for itThe ref was shocking but it wasnāt a corner. Simms never appealed for a corner and none of our team thought it was a corner until the Lino erroneously gave one.
There is an official in the stands who makes a reportA genuine question. Officials this seasons have been awful. I watch games at the CBS and often think both us and the visiting team would have reasons to feel hard done by.
Are the performances of match officials reviewed by anyone ? Are they held to account for the quality of their decisions for each game they participate in ?
Makes little difference - they'll be backing their man. There is an official in the stands who makes a report
It's not a mistake with the first goal, the Burnley player makes an attempt to clear it so Wright is then onside. Stupid rule but correctly a goalUltimately, they've made a mistake with the offside goal and then decided to give but ely everything.
It's a bit like me giving wrong change when I worked at Londis and then deciding to give everyone else a fiver for the rest of the day because I felt bad.
It's not corruption. It's incompetence. At what point is it just corruption rather than being shit?
Refs are too protected
Look at when Sky or TNT have refs on. When they cut to them as there's a decision pending they're totally non committal then once something has been decided they always say the ref was right even when we can all clearly see an error.Makes little difference - they'll be backing their man.

I was wrong
Handball wouldnāt have been given
Iād calmed down but just speaking to someone about it has riled me up again. At what point does a referee think āthese lot are taking the piss out of meā and start clamping down? Egan-Riley in the first half was rolling round holding his knee like heād had an amputation but then just got up and ran off. Same with Roberts towards the end. Infuriating.
If he has blocked the is Wright onside? They seemed to say that to justify the Liverpool goal against Everton
I agree that was astonishing decisionCan anybody explain the bit where their player got up, went for mve to block him, fell over and won a free kick? It should have been a booking and free kick to us.
Then Hannibal ran in kicking off, already on a booking. Ref did fuck all.
Is it any wonder players get booked for having a go?

Probably gave him 5 stars.
Reputation goes every where with them, Burnley that is.I was thinking the same. Of course they keep clean sheets if refs fall for those tricks
Happened more than twice.Iād calmed down but just speaking to someone about it has riled me up again. He wasnāt bad at his job, if that was the case he wouldāve been shit for both sides. He was utterly 1sided giving Burnley everything. Easily swayed by there play acting and dirty tricksIt's not corruption.
He didn't care if we or Burnley won that game.
He was just bad at his job, which is also an extremely difficult job.
Said at the time Roberts actually took the piss out of the ref laughing and doing that weird river dance shit when he got back upIād calmed down but just speaking to someone about it has riled me up again. Correction: My "A444" bit doesn't work as that was close to the East Stand...but you get my gistI get it must be difficult for referees sometimes, I mean, the referee today might as well have just threw Josh Brownhill his whistle and told him to crack on with it. That being said, he was appalling. As always, I do subscribe to conspiracies of some sort of plot against us, or that referees favour certain teams, he was just...shite.
What I do believe is that Burnley make themselves difficult to referee, and it requires very good refereeing. Today, he had a very bad game, and some of the decisions were baffling; the "foul" by Wright on Egan-Riley (?) early in the game, the yellow for MvE for being clattered into, no yellow for Anthony kicking the ball away when the ball was so far out of play it was practically on the A444, to name but a few
