Yes might as well, pointless protesting as there seems to be zero appetite for it.
Personally I don't understand why every city fan doesn't feel as strongly about wasps being here as me, Ashdown, chiefdave, duffer, michael, torch, Grendel, covmark, etc.

Nothing is wrong if the normal bloke wants to go and watch, however if said person abused or had digs at city fans at sixfields then it makes them look a bit silly no?So fucking what if people decide to go and watch, did you go to Sixfields?
I am getting confused by peoples answers lately on here, some say that moving teams to different places is wrong, some say its the mileage. some say that people shouldn't go and watch because it's wrong, some literally froth at the mouth about how wrong franchise is in sport. I wonder, did those same people who cannot shut up about it and how wrong it is go and watch CCFC when Marlon King who is a convicted woman beater and convicted sexual attacker play for us. I cannot work out what people think is worse on here and why

Maybe because everyone doesn't share your views. Maybe people have other more important things in their lives to get in a hissy fit about. Maybe people are more bothered why our owners are the biggest threat to our club and would rather vent their anger there.
That doesn't answer the question though does it?
Nothing at all to do with my post is o
It? Funny though, you spend all your time justifying a club parachuted into coventry?
I know it's been asked before but with the new rumours and recent events and the backlash from some on here, who would go to watch Coventry City FC play permanently in Nuneaton?
Also, would it still feel like CCFC?
No, not all my time. Fact is Wasps tried to get a bigger stadium built in Wycombe, but the residents scuppered that plan. They were losing money and are of the opinion that, playing in a small stadium in a small town does not allow them to achieve sporting or financial success. They are moving to a larger stadium with facilities that bring them 365 days a a year revenue. They will also benefit from naming rights and a new station being built. So, it was either go bust or move. On the other hand, we have owners that annoyed the owners of a premier league stadium to the point that they were glad to see the back of us. These owners are now doing exactly the opposite of Wasps. They are leaving a stadium which fits their needs and parachuting the team into a small town, with an existing football club, building a smaller stadium for lots of money and putting the club into a position where gates will fall and there is no possibility of increasing them to premier league sustainability level. Not to mention that all the fans on here who refused to even acknowledge that there is no great protest movement amongst wasps fans against the move, will now follow their leaders into oblivion and watch a "parachuted in" "franchise" team in some other football club's small town. No, I am not a hypocrite as I can see a case
for Wasps bettering themselves, but I cannot see a case for our club being franchised off to Nuneaton or elsewhere and condemned to the lower leagues forever. There are however enough hypocrites on here. PS I do not think it will ever happen though...
My digs are aimed at the people who had digs, I have said in other posts if random bill from radford wants to go and watch then of course. As well as wasps fans I hope they have a great day. With you now, so your posts are aimed directly at the people who called Sixfield goers scabs or hypocrites. Is it alright then for people like Stupot to use the term 'hypocrites' about people going to watch Wasps today without actually knowing everyones who is there and their reason for going?
If Sisu had asked for the same deal that Wasps got then they would have been ripping off a local charity and local taxpayers.
Your username says enough about your fluid view of Franchise sport.
Going to Sixfields was damaging CCFC (IMO). Going to Wasps makes no difference to CCFC.
Wasps were already playing out of their home city and had been for some considerable time.
I'm massively in favour of the Wasps deal if only because it wipes out SISU's attempt to get the Ricoh.
Skipping the in laws visit this week?I just looking forward to an afternoon not sittingl with a load of glazed eyed red faced goons who seem to think it is acceptable to use the word c**t as a punctuation mark
How many nuneaton fans would we steal by moving 2 miles closer do you think? If they were that interested, wouldn't they be going now?A move to Nuneaton would really upset those who want a campaign against wasps on the basis of how it impacted on Cov Rugby Club.
It would put them in a horrible position not going to watch CCFC because of the impact on the smaller local already established football club. Or they go anyway and get called hypocrites. Not a nice position to be put in.

No. Its not Coventry, its not the Coventry "area", its Nuneaton. A different town. Its not about distance for me. If the new ground ended up being in my home town of Rugby and a five minute walk from where I live and I still wouldn't go.
Call me pedantic (wouldn't be the first time tonight) but when I go to watch Coventry at home I expect it to be in Coventry.

I really should do a disclaimer but yes that's what they are aimed at
If people were on her giving People stick then of course people will say something when they come on going on about wasps.
In terms of hypocrites, a random rugger fan of course isnt. Somebody on here giving people shit for sixfields could be classed as that.
Brilliant but OK for London Wasps to play in Coventry? Priceless
To you,but then again you were very happy at Sixfields and would have been content to stay there. To most of fans the Ricoh was home but then again you would be very happy if the ground was in Nuneaton and if it is you'll have the same number as went to Sixfields. You would love that wouldn't you?
You really are fucking stupid, who the fuck will own our new stadium if it's built ever built, guess who , yes at last it will be Sisu.
my god you really are as thick as shit, and our debt will be well over 100 million by then.
What a great future you complete idiot
The obsession with the owners is ridiculous
No, it's Ricoh or nothing for me. It's our home.
I just looking forward to an afternoon not sittingl with a load of glazed eyed red faced goons who seem to think it is acceptable to use the word c**t as a punctuation mark
It is, but as steves said he's going tomorrow, and has been quite active in defending wasps moving to the ricoh, it seems a bit hypocritical to me.

Once again, shows the Sky Blue Trust is not fit for purpose.

Genuine question, not saying you are wrong
A prime example of why fan ownership here would not work, they'd immediately sign us up to a 100 year rent deal paying 2 million a year with no revenues at the Ricoh. Then pat themselves on the back for securing the future of the club inside Coventry an proclaiming what a wonderful day it is for the club.
