I think this is a game we could lose.

They'll be up for it and will be fighting to prove themselves. Our mentality is weak and we don't have enough leaders in the team at the best of times.

I'm not proud of this, but it is frightening that such a prediction could become a reality.

Some serious questions need asking at the club. The players, the manager, and whatever is going on with the owners. I actually think today Robins takes a lot of criticism as well, but you barely see him ever hold his hands up. His inability to react and make changes other than the same times he has allocated each week is ridiculous. The players themselves, whilst we gave it a bit of a crack at the end, displayed a totally pathetic and embarrassing performance. Some really are no where near good enough and were shown up by non-league opposition, others have more than questionable mental strength which is not a quality that goes well with professional sports.

I'm embarrassed to be a CCFC supporter this evening.

Yes it was clear, we had nothing through the middle.

He should have made the changes at half time.
To be fair to Robins that team should have won today at a canter. Agree that he should have mixed it up a bit quicker but felt like he was trying to put the minimum of the first team back in to get back in the game.

Well well well.

Firstly fair play Wrexham. Their fans will have a good Saturday night. Their players pulled every trick in the book to keep the lead we gifted them and the ref fell for all of them.

Moore: shite. Not even worth his place on the bench. Put a kid on for the experience.

Defence: shocking, so poor with balls into the box. Panzo looked better second half until he got (unfairly IMO) sent off.

Midfield: Kelly should never wear the shirt again. Not even League standard, so long and thanks for all the fish. Palmer was OK but had nothing to work with and was being fouled all game with no protection. Sheaf isn’t a replacement for Hamer, without Hamer we have no drive.

Attack: Tavares is gash and people need to accept it, Vik did OK but should have done more and but like the rest of the team needs to fucking shoot especially against this keeper. Palmer was the only one that seemed to clock any shot on target would go in today.

Subs far too late and baffling at times, bringing Allen on for Waghorn when you need a goal is like chopping your cock off when you need a shag, just pointless. Hamer should have been on after ten minutes. Robins has to take some blame there but ultimately if the defence hasn’t given away three goals the rest would have won that at a canter.
Simon Moore lost us that game in the first half.Awful goalkeeping especially the 2nd goal. I do think we would have won today otherwise but just wasn’t our day

On reply so still can’t tell if panzo stuck his arm out to save it or was allready out.

Ref was desperate to give a red

He looked far more threatening and much better than Allen. He’s not up to scratch but unless Nee is coming on he’s the most attacking player we had available.

hamer and Allen totality changed the dynamic of the game

National humiliation!?

It's currently the 10th story on the BBC Football page.

Its embarrassing for us sure, but the rest of the nation literally couldn't give a fuck.

Newcastle will be the biggest story

Mad cup tie. We’ll get over it
Well summed up.

It was a very entertaining game, we scored 3, hit the post 3 times and should have won the game in the end.

I am not too down about it at all, but then I have always been a glass half full kind of person. At the moment my dad is in hospital and I am sleeping on the couch of my soon to be ex wife, in the house I have just entirely given up to her.

It was just a game of football and I don't feel it was an humiliation at all

A humiliation would have been us throwing the towel in and the game petering out at 4-1 down and us down to 10 men.

I actually enjoyed the game. Frustrated we lost, but on another day, that game would have been a thrashing to us.

C'est la vie, life goes on. Stay healthy and keep smiling. 👍

Please may we not have to endure the likes of Waghorn again who looked more non league than most of the Wrexham players

International really. They'll hear Wrexham fans singing how 'fucking shit' they are on Disney in the summer.

It's humiliating for us but it should be for the players and management.

1-3 at half time at home to non league, he makes no changes even with a fit Hamer on the bench. It’s indefensible.
Have to disagree. Our squad is too small and he was trying to rest key players in order to protect them.

It would have been indefensible if we had the depth of squad, but we don't. I totally understand where Robins was coming from and we still nearly turned it around at the end.🤷

Funny game, shucking defending but with 10 we still could have won it 🤣. Michael Rose had an absolute stinker all game. On to Burnley 👀

Really, even to bring them on at half time?

On Robins that one. We look woefully ill prepared to defend the long throw and when we needed intensity on the pitch he plays Liam Kelly

I highly doubt that we didn't prepare for it, just the players completely failed to deal with it. The 3rd goal they had 3 free headers in the box.
As others have said, without Fadz in there the difference defending set pieces is night & day.

Waghorn had 75 minutes to score.
And it won't be popular with shmmeee, but Allen came on, knocked a couple of nice balls about, stretched their defence, linked midfield to Gyokeres, increased our tempo of play, and Wrexham couldn't handle a midfielder or two actually moving about.

tbf Waghorn did OK too, but he obviously can't last a full game anymore, and we've run out of fit forwards to replace him with anyway.

I just think he felt he HAD to rest players. He obviously knew we needed to compete, but it must have been hard to weigh up. Our squad is paper thin. I don't think he had too much choice to be honest and most people were calling for Moore to be given a go in the cup, so I don't think you can criticise Robins too much for that. We need a new keeper, full stop.

It was a tough choice for Robins tonight, but the team he DID put out, should have been good enough to win the game anyway.
Spot on, that team that started should have been enough to win that, they didn’t turn up, can’t really blame robins, on the plus side looks like sheff weds beating Newcastle has taken the shit off us,
