No access to CWR so please keep posting! I guess KK is playing left midfield with Baker on the right, Fleck and Conor in the centre with McSheff in the hole?

Ah! I'd have continued either way :)

Malaga is running the defence as seems the only one awake.

Murphy just made a low save palming it out of danger (nice change).

Kilbane in the middle. Baker and Sheff out wide either side of Ball when attacking. Putting balls into the box but too close to the keeper

Coventry City team: Murphy Clarke, Kilbane, Malaga, Edjenguele, Brown, Thomas, McSheffrey, Fleck, Baker, Ball.
Subs: Dunn, Deegan Hussey, Roberts, McDonald, Cazarine.

Looks like a near starting XI for the first game of the season to me.

Just having the same conversation AFC. Looks pretty much our starting 11. Wouldn't be keen on just one up front in competitive games though

Daft free kick given away by Malaga cleared away well by Clarke. Yet another Wrexham corner. They're very attacking which is a bonus while we're not too good at defending.

Lino flags for offside as I type but Wrexham continue ref plays on suggesting ball hit a CCFC player and they score. Very well taken goal too whilst 1 on 1

Haha oh dear oh dear... and with more or less our first team as well. AT needs to pull his shit together very quickly... I don't think people will be very forgiving this season.

That said.. there is plenty of time to score.

Just like to point out that at this stage shrewsbury are beating wolves, oldham are beating man city and southend are beating Ipswitch. Freindlies mean nothing

Any chance of a refund for my season ticket,it doesn't look very good and I'm always an optimist.

i know this is only a friendly blah, blah etc etc- but i think we better get used to teams coming at us full throttle - a long hard season indeed. I truly believe if we do get any where near the playoffs we would have done well. I was one of the ones at Vile park the day we were relegated from the prem and believed the championship would be a doddle ! not falling for that again - welcome to the first division!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whichever optimist predicted ex-City kid Ogleby would score should give themselves a pat on the back - his uncle (City fan) just texted me with the "good" news!!!
