Worried that the ref would give a foul against Ostigard then.
Watched the replay a few times and he did a brilliant job to keep his hands off Grimmer. If Grimmer had gone down not many refs would have made the right decision

I’ve seen more than enough of Baka now. He’s just not coming on at all. So frustrating his lack of fight and tenacity to challenge for the ball.

He looks like he’s trying as he chases down a lot but doesn’t actually want it.

He’s supposed to be quick but he turns like the titanic. Lays the ball off then disappears.

I’m sure he only came on today with a view to Max starting midweek.

the chance O'Hare had when he shot when he could have pulled it back for Baka, if that was Godden he'd have been going mental at O'Hare but it looked to me as though Baka didn't say anything. Don't know if it's a confidence thing or whether he's just not switched on.

Didn’t realise we got a week off before Boxing Day. Just keep grinding for two more games and we could be sitting very nicely come Christmas.

It was my first I thought too, but Wycombe player just stood there, didn't even challenge for the ball.

Amazed it was given and amazed the "equaliser" was disallowed.
It was grimmer and he was just weak in the challenge. Similar to the notts county play off gamr

Bet there is someone somewhere who turned off when the ball hit net at end and thinks that game ended 2-2 took an age for the Lino to get the flag up!

Why would you pick an ill or injured player Harry, i think Shipley picked up a knock in a rare challenge for the ball.

Could be right, he seemed to pick up a knock when giving away a free kick for a shove (again) in the back of their player. MR will tell us what was wrong with him. With regards to a player not feeling 100%, and I don't know whether he was/wasn't, I suspect someone in his position is desperate to play (having just lost his place) so may have kept it under wraps, but sometimes it just happens. Was willing him to have a good game, as I don't like seeing players getting ripped apart by fans. He didn't contribute particularly, but hope he is ok, whatever it was, especially now Kelly may be out as we then start to look a bit light in that area (Hamer/Sheaf both on 4 bookings?)

Robins:

  • Tough place to go managing high number of injuries and Hamer walking close to a ban
  • Knew game was going to change but tough against Akinfenwa
  • Penalty was soft, we perhaps fortunate with the disallowed goal
  • Kelly now out for a period of time, not sure how bad yet
  • Shipley taken off as a precaution due to him taking a knock to the knee
  • Sheaf totally at fault for the penalty though it was soft
  • Allowed them a way back in when they didn't look in it
  • Referee had a tough job in a partisan atmosphere with no away fans
  • Crowd made a big difference
  • Hamer's half way line effort out of this world
  • Looking one game at a time

Let’s hope Kelly isn’t Long, from what I seen today from sheaf I worry about him midweek but hopefully he’s now got some sharpness back into the legs,if Hamer picks up another yellow it’s a ban who’s plays then in midfield.

Hamer would get a two game ban if he were booked so agree it made sense to rotate him out today. Sheaf always has one bad mistake in his locker but I back him to get better.

And importantly Biamou had knee injury, explains why Baka come on Kelly. Explains a lot, no point risking anyone.
