Bored so just looked at this for you :)

If like Rugby Union, the ref blew his whistle at the 80min stage, 6 of our league games would have different results.

Bristol City - Draw, they scored in the last 10, we would have gained a point
QPR - Draw, McFadz got our winner on 85, we lose 2 points
Forest - Draw, K Walker with their winner just before the end, another point earned
Middlesboro - Draw, both of Boros goals in the last 10, a point picked up
Watford - Draw, and another point on our stats
Norwich - Lost, Max's equaliser in the 89th would have been wiped so we would have lost a point.

Which would have meant we picked up 1 point in total.

If you include the Carabao Cup, we won against MK Dons with a goal in the last 10 and may not have exited the cup in the next round if the Gills equaliser was cancelled out.
People always get Walker mixed up with Lyle Taylor. Which is shame for the bloke as Taylor is a massive c**t.

The previous one was interesting and perhaps highlights how some of us focus more on the points we chucked than the ones we saved.
This is getting ridiculous, While we're at it, let's just delete the first 20 seconds and last 5 minutes from the Bristol C match, the last 25 mins from the Watford match, the last minute from the N Forest match, the last 75 minutes of Swansea match, the last 10 minutes of the Boro match, the second halves of the Brentford and Bournemouth matches, the first 15 minutes of the Blackburn match. i think that should do just fine.

If we counted the score after 10 seconds in every game, I reckon we'd be equal top.

I think that sounds fantastic. Can we start a petition?

Wycombe have only conceded 2 goals in their last 5 home games. They've really tightened up. And 6 of their 10 defeats have been by a single goal. I think the best thing that can happen to us tomorrow is that they view us as a fellow promoted L1 team that they can potentially get 3 points from. If they're also happy not to lose I can see it being turgid. Not sure the first goal is as important as scoring an early goal. If we get an early goal, that would really open the game right up.

Despite the leggy performance on Tuesday and the perceived success of the box last year, I'd still go with an unchanged 3-5-2. It don't think it was the box they couldn't handle last year, it was trying to get back into the game after conceding after 3 minutes and then the sucker punch of conceding immediately after their equaliser.

It was interesting. Shows games where we've been able to convert a draw into a win or a loss. But the other ones are equally interesting. As Robins often employs his substitutions around the 60-69 and 70-79 mins marks, these can show whether the use of subs has impacted our games.

Ouch. It's called analysis. See when and how our games have been affected. Last 10, did we tire or did we press an advantage ? 60- 69 or 70-79, did the subs in that period have an impact on the game ? Besides, if you don't like the comment, you are always welcome to scroll past to the next one and not give me a like ;)

Tom, you are correct. And when I read the Cov match report, I still read Taylor as Walker. My bad.

You aren't the first and for some reason, I don't think you'll be the last. I just hope Taylor grabs the winner for us in the return fixture ;)

I’d start Giles, imo Grimmer was one of City’s slowest full backs.

My impression is that the Wycombe defence find it hard to deal with pace. If COH needs a rest, bringing in Giles might make sense. And we know that O'Hare often has quite an impact when used as a substitute when defenders get tired. My main concern is that they will try to kick him out of the game and we don't need any more injuries. We really need a decent ref for this game.

They’re are missing some defenders for the game amongst others. They were cream crackered after Barnsley. I’m hoping the extra days rest plays into our favour. I suspect Robins will make some changes and his favourites might be to bring Giles, Shipley, Sheaf, Allen or Baka in.

Problem will be the game will by pass anyone in midfield unless you can head it.

They play volleyball not football. Horrible horrible anti football.

We will be likely be unchanged again as we played well against 2 other big sides including Rotherham who are closest thing to Wycombe in this league.

Think there will be lots of changes though around 60 mins.

While Baka may be out of favour at the moment, he has pace and he's a big guy. I'd like to see him up against the Wycombe CBs as I think it would pay dividends. But not on his own, we'd need another CF who can hold the ball. Has Max got the legs to play 2 full games in 4 days still ?

Okay :D

70 Mins, still the 6 games affected.

Bristol C, would have been a draw 1-1 - gained 1 pt
Middlesboro, a 0-0 draw - gained 1 pt
Reading, we were drawing 1-1 at 70 mins - lost 2 pts
Forest, a 1-1 draw - gained 1 pt
Watford, would have ended 2-2 - gained a point
Norwich, we would have lost 1-0 - lost a point

Change in points gained - 1 point for finishing earlier.

And because you asked so nicely, if by some quirk of fate, the Football League said all results were final after 60 mins, 4 games affected (we would have still won vs Reading but by less and a loss to Watford still).

Bristol C would have been a draw
Middlesboro a draw
Forest a draw
Norwich we lost.

Change in points - 2 points to the better.

I'm not doing 45 mins :p
I bet you do !

Hope we keep the same eleven or tweek it for Giles for ohare to add more pace down the flank and keep max starting with walker. Another thing whether godden will be put on the bench which Robins could do.
Feel MR will stay with the 3 at the back and worry about yellow cards after this game dabo is getting back to his best and Sam on the other flank seems to be growing with more experience game time brings. Hamer and Kelly in the midfield could be the difference between the sides where the game is won.

Haven’t changed my view that we are the better side in more than one respect. We both have small squads for this level, if they had to stick Grimmer at CB then that’s giving you an idea of their injury issues. They do have some dangerous players like all teams do but they won’t hurt us unless we let them.

Cov win by 1 or 2

Iwont be melting down.if we lose or getting carried away if we win.
I'll be really happy that we're bang on course for 25 points at the mid way stage but nothing more

Would expect us to freshen it up a bit this afternoon. I think same system but starts for Giles, Sheaf, Shipley or Allen & Baka.

We could make some errors and allow the first goal but they have a real talent for blowing the lead. I do hope though if Walker starts he’s more on it than he was on Tuesday

I think Walker looks knackered.
I know most young fit people who've had Covid recover quickly but I think it may have took a bit more of a toll on him
