Would get us 78 points mate which isn't enough for autos, keep trying with the maths though as you are a teacher after all X

You know what, not only had I not done the maths, but I thought we beat Charlton instead of the other way around.

Also, not really a teacher any more. What makes it worse is I'm a trainee data scientist instead.

Everyone on phone in so optimistic. but they didn't listen when I told them all this month's ago

They are optimistic as Mowbray has fucked off. He was clearly even more shit than I thought

Thought the ref was shocking today and has cost us the game. The two decent penalty shouts and the foul on Stevenson on the edge of the box were dreadful.

It's no coincidence that's for sure

Rose in his interview was particularly telling. Now playing a formation that much more suits the players. Wing backs didn't work. Everyone focused on their job.

Venus has made the tweaks for sure. Doesn't make mowbray shit. he got us 8th last year. not shit in any way

Sounds like Venus has simplified tactics a bit according to rose. Let's hope it works long term.

Rose being today's goalscorer and a TM signing of course

Rose gave a very telling interview.

Thought we were good today and dominated it for 70 mins. Looked toothless upfront. Ageyi tamly shot a few times. Wright was ineffective.

Oztumer was the best player on the pitch today. Can't believe we let players like him slip us by while we went for players out of our price range.

Yer Oztumer is clearly a v good player and high on confidence after his two blinders last week. However, I honestly think Stevenson was on a par. He orchestrated all our play today. I know I've only seen 120 mins of his play but does seem him together with the change to a back four is the cause of our turnaround.

I think Bigi and Stevenson fit very well together and nearly always give eachother an option to pass to. Ozthumer was virtually non existent until the last 15-20 minutes. Our midfield forced him deeper and deeper making him innefective. Rose going off(he looked very tired and was slowing down a lot) let them get back into the midfield and probably cost us the three points.

All this speculation about the play-offs.
The fact is all six top teams won today.
We drew, so we dropped a further 2 points behind all six top teams.

That thing of a referee Dean Whitestone is utter shite incompetent cretin, imho that is, sunday league would be too much for him.
Two penalty shouts, the Stevenson one was nothing short of a nailed on pen, & he let that thug Chambers get away with an outrageous physical assault on Bigirimana.
That being said the City were wasteful in not hammering home their undoubted superiority.
I hope that's all right for the grammar police, imho, dorks.

Walsall fan here. That was the worst we've played for weeks but maybe you stopped us playing as we have been. You bossed it for an hour but didn't really create many clear cut chances. We could and should have won it in the end but that would have been an injustice based on the balance of play for the 90.

We weren't impressed by the ref either. Was even less impressed by the dive in the first half. One of those where the lad saw our keeper coming and must have thought "I'll get a toe on the ball and go over the keeper". Trouble was, our 'keeper pulled up so the lad went over thin air and looked a bit embarrassed. I think we both later had stick on pens that were waved away.

Decent following from you lot. Our support is rubbish at home in terms of numbers.

Good point today, let's beat Chesterfield next at home and then we are a win from 10th/9th which is a massive improvement after a few weeks of being rock bottom. We seem hard to beat which is great.

by far the best team for at least the first hour and it should have been more than 0-1. They then came into it and we could have lost in the end. content with a draw and move onto next home game

Let what go

Seasons going exactly like I said it would despite poor start

I guess extended highlights gave me.more of an insight than those that went to the early games lol
Mowbray had turned into a car crash mate. I wish you'd drop it because I hate to keep criticising a man I hold in very high regard but he'd lost it.
I doubt we would have turned things round if he was still here, he knew that as well which is why he walked.

I've said my piece on tm. some agree some disagree.

He put this squad together and it isn't nowhere near as bad as some made out. I still think we can get promoted. That's why I put money on it when we were bottom

But it'd all about Venus now. he's making changes that the players like and he's also keeping a settled 11 which will lead to players like lameries excelling imo

A win Tuesday and we can start to dream

As long as we are within 6 pts of top 6 come Xmas we will have a chance. but at this rate maybe we could be top 10 by then anyway.

your bets fucked, I've cursed it by betting us to get promoted as well!

Fair summary of the game, particularly us bossing it but not really creating clear cut chances. I do think teams in general get a rough deal for stopping other teams playing their normal style. The oppo tends to assume they just played badly. Particularly when a team is lower in the league (see Rochdale's sour grapes last week).

Ref certainly did like his flamboyant waving play on! And missed a fair bit. It did seem like a pen at the far end, held me breath then that's for sure, will be interesting if that's on the highlights.
