Another self fulfilling prophecy to point at anyone who dares call for SISU out. It's almost as if there's a smear campaign against anyone who dares mutter those words.

Bit dramatic Tony.

I hate SISU...SISU Out! I hate the Council and Lucas....Lucas Out. I hate Wasps...Fuck off Wasps!

I have stated these views in various posts and never had a smear campaign against me for any of these views.
Everyone wants them out they are uselss, apart from one or maybe two deluded posters I am yet to see anyone state any reason why they should stay.

Jesus, Tony. Are you promoting a company called "Self Fulfilling Prophecy"? You've mentioned it a gazillion times.

Cant remember many if any defending Sisu,it seems a universally agreed thing that we all want them out

yeah because a couple of people make up the site. You were always a dick if you were calling those who just wanted to support the team a scab and that was the opinion of the vast vast majority of this site even if we did think your reluctance to protest was disappointing. I think it's a very safe bet that we've heard more scab talk from those who went to sixfields than the few idiots who abused them.

Hardly fucking likely to do that are they?

being picked on for your contraversial and independent thinking on SBT? Do you REALLY think that? Hysterical.

And to be honest I think quite a few "dare" to say SISU OUT on here.

He had a prophecy you would write that! ;)

Not sure what you mean? I mean for each instance of an idiot calling someone a scab, I think there are multiple posts by those who went to sixfields talking about the fact that they or others were called scabs and in many cases even using it as a stick to beat the forum with despite the fact that the vast majority didn't agree with them being called that. It must be 4 or 5 months since anyone was called a scab yet we still hear about it regularly.

Then there is the fact that you yourself have used plenty more insulting words than scab.

like what?

The usual, fucking twat, fucking bellend, you've called people traitor for going to wasps, wasn't there a thread a couple of weeks ago with a massive slanging match with one side using retard and the other side using mogol and imbecile, that was you for sure but I can't remember which side you were on. The majority of your posts are hatefilled towards other posters. All of these are worse than using a word that's used to mean strike breaker.

I actually pull up people for being sexist, homophobic and racist oh and yes, people who use the word "mong" as well. I think you will find I am pretty consistent on this, whoever does it you bellend twat.

fair enough I said I couldn't remember which was you, then you were the one using fucking imbecile. either way it was a thread full of abuse that you were at the centre of and fucking imbecile is absolutely worse than scab. You're the one who asked me to justify saying you've used more insulting things than scab, which isn't difficult as it seems like every day you're insulting someone.

anyway I'm done with this, I was just trying to point out that scab was only used by a few and certainly wasn't the belief of the majority.

Glory, for some, has been reduced to boasting over forum numbers :D

I have to concede that this forum does contain a much larger group of Coventry fans. One could even say; the majority.

However, before you collectively raise a can of Carling to your already frothy mouths in celebration, perhaps you should consider exactly what 'being the majority of Coventry fans' actually means, and exactly what there is to fūcking boast about?

The club is the only thing we, as fans, have ever had in common. Through good times (if you're old enough to remember) and bad.

Seemingly that counts for nothing anymore. Instead we'll just continue to fight over our own opinions regarding who fūcked it up most....yeah?

Fūck SISU, ACL, Higgs and whoever else you personally think is to blame, and to what extent.........and fūck you, if that's all you care about anymore.

Just for you though; It's Preston away m8. And no, you smart arse, I can't go.

Thing is though, before all this clever internet stuff, we used to sit in the pub and have arguments (usually just about the team then...) just as heated, and with opposite views being put forward and defended, with all sorts of insults back and forward. Difference was it was a bunch of mates, so the insults traded were done with a smile (usually) and, the discussions could quite easily be taken "off thread" by a pretty girl walking past, or the glasses being nearly empty.....And if a mate said he wasn't going, especially with a weak excuse like living in the US, he was rightly derided...... ;)

I quite like GMK - always good to gather the thoughts and opinions of all - doesn't matter which forum they sit on. "Forum rivally" - what a bizarre concept. Surely most fans join up to one to find out what the hell is going on at the club, and share a few thoughts and views (all in a respectful and reasonable way of course).

If this place went down like GMK there would be howls that SISU had hired Anonymous to deliberately silence the "TRUTH" by hacking this website.

Think that some people did suggest it was hacked by Sisu when it had an issue a year or so ago, though it was probably Council Jack, the only person more paranoid than the bloke who really shot JFK.

Nail on the head.

We talked in the pub about the game, the team, the manager and players. Even despite the fact that as far back as the late 80's the owners/board were shafting the club.
But no one gave a shit back then 'cause we were in Division 1/Premiership. I don't remember heated discussions over; exactly where the millions of pounds were coming from to buy players.

Our modern era 'success' cost us dearly and set a downward course that couldn't be avoided...yet you listen to some people, they'll have you think that we've only ever had one bad owner.

Back to the pub: I don't remember ever having heated conversations regarding sustainability.

Looking back, perhaps we should have.

I'd say it was representative of the opinions of the average Coventry fan, if the boycott of Sixfields and subsequent dwindling fanbase is anything to go by.

Average home gate 2012 - 13; 10,906
Average home gate 2013 - 14; 2,287

That's something like 80% of attendees who voted with their feet. Is this site that distanced from the prevailing feeling of the average, normal fan? Or is GMK, out of kilter?

Everyone knows 'the majority' is always right.

By the way, the earth is flat, and resides at the centre of the universe.

Yes, but the Sixfields attendees were the most loyal supporters in a really difficult season so deserve a larger share of voice.

Ha ha. Brilliant. The diametrically opposed view being they gave sycophantic credence to the move, and their voice should be worth less.

The truth lying between the two, eh?

Personally I think it's a bizarre myth that GMK is out of kilter. You have Brocco, fergynn obviously anti-SISU, the likes of captain_mainwairing have not exactly been fans since they arrived, engage knowl and smiles and they will accept SISU are not exactly God's gift... fishymores offers the mentalist view.

However, as currently quieter, you notice the 'pro' voice shouted, as seeming more loud. That doesn't make it representative though... there is, however, a bizarre tendency from some to categorise individuals by the online company they keep.

Imagine that, tea with RFC and Grendel...

The latter thought sent a shudder. I don't think it's wholly populated by the disturbed; just that statistically it doesn't reflect the opposition to the owners recent actions. Despite much bluster to the contrary, giving up 'home' games was a great wrench to most; many of whom had followed City for donkeys years. These were not decisions taken lightly. Yet 80% chose to demonstrate as they did.

I just don't see that 8/2 leaning reflected on that site. Not even close, if you're candid
