Are you really abusing people because they don't want to boycott?

Considering more will be inside the ground, I would suggest everybody goes in to unite with fellow fans.

Why on earth would people want to unite when you are giving it shit like that?

You wont understand Nick ..................You never do .

Personally I t.hink it'd be better for people to miss the first 2/3 minutes of the game and stay in the concourse at the start of each half if they want to protest. That way, there will be less likelyhood of bickering and arguing. See Skyblue beddufs reply above if anyone thinks that everyone will respect peoples decisions.

Didn't they do that the other week?

Plus, people turn up late anyway!

Of course it won't get respected, see Bruce as another example.

Understand what? Why you are calling people names because they don't want to boycott?

Then you moan about being united. Funny really.

Nick , Next time you see Timmy and Joy , ask them if I can have my shares back please .

What's wrong with everyone doing the protest, but then those who wish to boycott the game, boycotting the game and those who wish to attend, attending?

If it was just one game for me then I would happily go along and miss the game, but I have missed too many now due to circumstances beyond my control, so I really want to see my team play on Saturday.

You are the one abusing people.

I don't see any respect from people like you and beduff on this thread for people wanting to go in.

Other fans have organised a boycott, it is up to them if they want to. I'm not abusing them or calling them names.

Embarrassing really, I just hope your actual boycott is carried on by sitting on your arse at home rather than being at the ground as they don't need people like you there.

The lads are young and inexperienced. They need your/our support. No it's not all ok after 1 win we are still bottom or second Bottom of the league and still a few wins away from even getting out the relegation zone. We are in a bad spot.

Let's march and protest sure and before Rochdale makes good sense so close after charlton but we should for 90 mins support the lads. If we get another win Saturday then we can build again? Season ain't lost just yet. It's October

Not really, I can just see the difference between 2 people bickering like Grendel and Tony and calling each other names and you randomly calling somebody a tosser because they said they were going to march and then go into the game.

Again, I just hope that people like you don't bother even leaving their house on Saturday because all it will do is ruin any boycott and make all the protesters look like knobs because of the select few that don't seem to have much of a grasp on life.

Still, you can cry about fan unity.

i live in Lincoln, family still in Coventry. with everything going and gone on, i have lost the passion for the game completly. Will always support my Club but it is affecting how i feel about football in general now, and stops me wanting to go to any game. I attended yesterday. I actually enjoyed the game last night, thought we played some good football at times can see we desperatly need a striker/goalscorer though.
In my humble opinion, sisu will not invest wherever we are in the league, they will not just pack up and go whatever we do either, so the only people we are hurting are the players, the club itself and fans like me. I believe we should support the team get behind them, a succesfull CCFC WILL atract an investor, we are too great a club for it not too. Back us to be succesfull and a buyer will come forward. Just my thoughts. PUSB

I'm attending the game based on my thoughts a boycott is ineffective.

1) NOPM does not effect SISU, if the club loses money, they'll just sell a player to cover the shortfall. Next target more than likely Stevenson.

2) SISU are not gonna lose further money based on the fact they're not putting any further money in.

However I respect the boycott in that people obviously believe that it affects them good luck to them.

My main issue is that some NOPM people will be the ones tha complain when a player is sold and not replaced.

I boycotted Northampton but accepted at the time players would be sold and we'd more than likely get relegated.

If someone could show me the benefits to NOPM I'd be happy to join, but I want to see an end game and proof NOPM/boycotting is working

Where are the double standards?

Like calling somebody a tosser for going to watch their football team play and then whinging about being united?

How about you just toddle off to the Telegraph comments where you can get unlimited back packs with the rest of the "Coventry city fans" who shut up when we win? You can almost feel their pain when we get a result.

Very fair post but I would say those things are happening anyway. We are selling our best players every season and replacing them with inferior or loans. That's will circa 10k crowds which for league 1 is decent.

I don't do NOPM but I see the benefits but I would rather 30k fill the stadium every week. Sadly no one is either all NOPM or selling out the Ricoh every week and that's why we are just trudging along in league one with a massive turnover of players every year.

8-10k crowds just drip feeds the club meaning we can never really progress. NOPM in my opinion would get rid of these owners once a for all but it's not practical as it won't get full support and didn't even in Northampton.

Similarly 30k fans won't happen every week but this is the better option as we could give the club more money more tools and more chance of finding a buyer

You can't bleat about unity or anything about 'fellow fans' if you're calling people tossers or telling them to fuck off for not going along with what you want.

It's a free country. If fans want to boycott then fine and if fans want to watch the game then fine.

Do what you think is right.

Exactly! That's the best bit.

Just a shame people that people like Bruce and Beduff can't see that all it will do is put people off it.

See I'm in the crowd that thinks SISU will go when it suits them.

I honestly think that they've completely cut the club off. Whether you believe him or not Fisher is right we have to player trade to cut our cloth. I'd rather the owners invest smart but that isn't going to happen.

I just think as Nick does attacking CCFC is counter productive. We need to somehow get to SISU but a lot of our fans are closed off and believe the only target is CCFC.

SISUs best chance of recovering their debt is to be successful, if we had regular 15-20k crowds I believe we'd achieve a level of success without their input

And just let SISU continue to destroy this club you love? Fuck off mate, another win, another deluded up their own arse fool.
I'm on the fence about this boycott but you've made my mind up, I'm going to call my 10 year lad "a deluded up his own arse fool" for wanting to support his heroes. Am I fuck, I had to look at the tears welling up in his eyes when I said we weren't going to Northampton and that won't happen again, I have complete respect for those boycotting but we will both be on the march and then taking our seats for the game.
