Wasps would then say that's not the case and that the clubs stance was unreasonable.

You'd then do a poll asking if the club should drop it's 17 points do we can secure a 25 year deal at the Ricoh.

So Wasps have given the club the only deal in town. A take it or leave it deal. A deal that the club can't accept.
The club have decided not to tell us about this situation in case Wasps say it Isn't true, even though it is.
So instead both of them have said negotiations never got to a "this the deal point"

Yep you are right I am the stupid one. Never realised all the above had happened.

No all one party has to say is that legal action is background noise and you sit drooling in the corner, hanging on to every word he says and doing poll after poll until you get an answer that suits you.

The deal ultimatum thing
It's not true is it?
Come on admit it?

No can we get back on track
Would you not like to smoke Wasps out and declare that if they get back around the table and agreement is eventually reached the legal action can be terminated.
Wasps say no to that very reasonable offer then we know they have no interest in us staying

On the other hand what happens if they drop the legal action and then they go back against their word?

Surely you can't have a written contract saying "if you drop the legals against somebody else, we will do this to help save the football club"? A bit shady isn't it?

If not true why hasn't the same constraint regarding legal action been placed on a deal to pay for academy space?

And why did they even bother starting talks about staying at the Ricoh?

Still as don says wasps said it must be true.

Bit like looking at 27 sites for the training ground and just happening to go for the one that we currently occupy.

A genuine question on legals (excuse my ignorance)
If we were under new ownership would that leave SISU free to continue the legals independently and the club free to rebuild relationships without those legals being used as a bargaining tool against it?

And then suddenly stopping talks and blaming legals as they put planning permission in?

Yes I think they would, because its about reviewing thd councils decision, plus it was about the time when sisu were owners.

But sisu aren't going to sell the club so it makes no difference.

So you'd rather just huff and puff on a forum than actually contact those involved - despite being provided with their emails when you requested them.

It was probably your e mail address he was given and that put him off.

So you'd rather just go round picking posters off? I told you why I didn't email, because the the academy is more important. The legals have fuck all to do with the academy dispute.

What are you doing about it, other than defending wasps at every turn? You have the emails, have you emailed them?

So, as I asked, why not email them about the situation at Higgs and Ricoh?

What are actually doing about either - aside from huffing and puffing here?

Where have I defend Wasps?

Can't see why not. All the litigation surrounds a time frame when"they" owned the club. That time frame doesn't change if they sell the club after the event.

So you're doing nothing then, fair enough - why didn't you just say that?

Also, you've not clarified where I've defended Wasps.

I submitted an objection to the planning application. So that's 1 thing I have done. I'm also in the middle of penning an email to the mp and minister for sport.

So what are you doing? Nothing?

Yes apparently people didn't understand my question and were not choosing legal action over securing the future of the club.
They were merely saying Wasps shouldn't be involved.
However they are and they are saying no deal can be concluded until the legal action has concluded.
So I am saying call their bluff, offer to get round the table for both academy and Ricoh. If a deal is reached agree to drop the legal action when we sign it.
We will see two things are Wasps bluffing and don't really want us.
Are SISU prepared to drop the legal action to save the club and academy

The minutes at the time of the WASPs sale refer to not affecting CCFC. Nothing about SISU with whom they were wrangling at the time.
If they could differentiate then why cannot they do it now?

If it's a red herring smoke them out.
Over to drop the legal action at point of signing if we are happy with the deal.
They are the ones saying it is an issue.
Let's see if it really is

They don't want us to stay. The legal action gives them a handy excuse to not do a deal and still blame someone else, and people are lapping it up.

Call them out then let's see if they are genuine or not.
Of course we also get to see if SISU can put the football club above their own agenda as well.
It would be nice to see SISU offer it and Wasps accept it and the club's future secured

The academy is very important however the future of the club is also just as important

Because they are choosing not do.
So let's deal with it and call them out. Solve the problem they are creating
