Exactly! Years ago, I was a call centre manager and we worked alongside other centres in India etc. And it was hilarious to be dealing with someone like Davinder Rajesh Singh but when he was dealing with UK calls, he'd be called Gavin! They even made them watch programmes like Eastenders and Corrie to give them things to talk about with UK customers!

I work for a Chinese company. In the office today we have a Bob, Ben, Michael, Jason, Ken, Apollo, Annie and a Jessica.

If you are going to pick an English name, pick a good one. Apollo wins.

Mine came today, would have been to my original delivery address a few days before. Not going until the Tuesday game anyway so I'm happy enough.

Email confirmation that I won't be receiving season ticket and will have to join the hundreds in the queue picking theirs up tomorrow!
This club of ours certainly does its best to alienate its fans.....

Did the email explain why you won't be receiving them? And what you have to do that you won't be getting them?

Thank you for buying a season card with Coventry City Football Club.


I’m sorry to hear there has been a delay in getting your season card out to you. We did have some issues printing your seat but have now resolved this and have been able to produce your card.


It will be available to collect on Saturday 13thAugust from the Match Day Ticket Office at the Ricoh Arena 11am onwards, which is located next to the Jimmy Hill statue at the Ricoh Arena. There will be a designated window especially for the collection of your season ticket.


Any uncollected cards will be available to collect from the Butts Park Arena ticket office on Monday 15th August, and again at the Ricoh Arena Ticket Office on Tuesday 16th. Any cards which have not been collected by Wednesday 17th August will post then be posted to the address registered on your season ticket account.


As a gesture of good will for any inconvenience this may have caused you, we would like to refund your service charge and postal charge.

I haven't got mine. I will wander up 5 minutes before kick off collect it and go in.

I wouldn't worry too much, you'll probably get in before those that have received them.
After all, what do you reckon the chances of them actually working.

Yeah, we all got the same email come through at work. At least it will be the cards we will be collecting and not duplicates. Hopefully queues won't be too bad.

Bought 4 season tickets on 8th June using finance.

Sorted finance, received letter and payments start to come out of account.

No season ticket turns up for me and my lad but the other two do.

No record of my seats being purchased and someone has been sold them for the game on Saturday!!!

Have they taken any finance out for those season tickets or have you just been paying for the 2?

I'd be onto Ticketmaster straight away, tweet the club if you can ;)

you have a record that they payments are coming out. Go to the ticket office tomorrow (before 2:50pm) and they will give you two tickets before you season ticket arrives. With all the things happening with our club, this isn't the farce

So you have paid for the 4? If you have been up, what have they said?

You would think it would be "here are 2 temporary tickets, I am sorry about this, we will liase with ticketmaster and get them to sort their shit out"

Wonder if he got caught out by the final procedure online like I did after putting the pin no in.
Sorted mine last night but bought it outright
Was still in the basket on my bro's laptop
seem to have got it still on earlybird
Will find out tomorrow I guess when I go up for a duplicate ticket, not gonna be easy as I have to finish my daughters house move in the morning.

Yeah, someone I know bought from BPA and was given a hand-written receipt. When they asked if they could bring this tomorrow as proof of purchase CCFC said yes, but ticketmaster said no. Wtf?

Also, interestingly, since tm sent out the bulk email earlier, the club have said they know nothing about this and still say paper tickets will be issued tomorrow and not cards, despite tm saying the cards are ready. Also from a tweet this all came as news to the club, as they say they were assured all tickets were despatched on monday. All a bit weird.

They said all tickets had been dispatched at the start of the week, but now saying some weren't printed until today so will need to collect?

They do to want people to go on the march so will make them queue up for a ticket instead........

6 of us ordered different times, all with in early bird. 1 has ST.

ABSOLUTE JOKE!

Club responded to my tweet, 100 expected without ST. Seems a lot more than that, if our success rate is anything to go by!

for those muppets on here who seem blind that this may cause an issue to anyone, I have to collect our st with my 4 yr old so no casino option and anticipate large queues

Club needed to do a lot more, they chose the outsource partner and agreed service level agreement, not me!

head up at 1 get your tickets, take the kid for lunch and the head back to the ground,

The Muppets who are blind to that crazy issue should bow their heads......or you are making a bigger deal of this than it should be....
