Every club in the country is still building their squad , it has become harder and harder for lower league clubs too do this with the introduction of the 25 man squad list in the Premiership and the ridiculously late finish to the transfer window .
This needs to be changed. Its stupid starting the season with so many teams still building their squads. Move the end of the transfer window to a month before the start of the season. That way everyone has their squad in place for pre-season.

Agreed , that's why until it is I'm glad Mogga is recruiting players on longer contracts .This should bear fruition in the coming seasons

Isn't bullshit is it? Have a read everywhere.
Don't need to Nick see it all the time other supporter moaning about there clubs spending or do you just turn a blind eye so you can say all CCFC fans are wankers.
You sound like a finger Vile fan with those remarks.
BTW they were one of the teams moaning last season about that very thing.

Removing the "emergency" loan window will help a bit, but I agree, it should at least be the day before the first game, if not earlier.

There's a bit of a weird obsession with Juggy on here.

I don't know him too well but did work with him for a few months and there is no doubting that he likes the sound of his own voice and revels in the "Juggy from the radio" persona he has created for himself but he is harmless and there is no doubting that he is a City fanatic who follows the side home and away.

People seem to take real issue with him and I know certain people are not happy with him but I honestly believe he is just a bit naive and I do think that he may end up getting himself into a situation with some of our fans where he will be completely out of his depth and he does just need to tone it down a little.

I think it's more "why make stuff up" than actually anything malicious?

Would never doubt his commitment to following the club though, and never have :)

I think we are still up there budget wise can only think of a handful of side with bigger budget anyhow!

WTF is that statement based on? Pure speculation! An expert in football business was on the radio a couple of weeks ago, and said that Cov are "mid-table" in terms of League 1 budgets.

As for attendances, the reason Bradford get close to 18K every week is that their adult season tickets (for the main stand, at least) were ... wait for it ... £149 (without concessions).

That's because they can make the difference up on food and other stuff can't they?

We can't do that, we wouldn't get enough uptake to cover the difference (see last season).

So every supporter needs to spend at least 150 quid a season on pies.

Funny Just Watched a video of Arsenal fans moaning about not getting any players in.
They were angry that they were being linked to a striker from Bournemouth one Callum Wilson.
Thought it was only City wankers who do that.:)
