"We'll pay our dues if we want to" isn't how respectable, reasonable people do business. That might happen in the world of hard-headed business, but the tactics were misplaced because the council were able to resist such pressure. Sore losers SISU were so outraged at not getting their way due to their bully-boy tactics that they petulantly sued and got battered in court.Negotiating? Didn't they try to lower the rent?
