An hugely unlikely scenario but could you do this legally in theory?
Buy Wasps, which would come with ACL. Buy CCFC. Put them all in the same group of companies. Sell or liquidate Wasps. CCFC end up with ownership of the Ricoh.

Extremely unlikely. But something is definitely buzzing behind the scenes... ;)

Always said it would make sense to put them under the same roof, but why liquidate
One of them, surely having two teams in two sports in the top leagues brings in more
Revenue and raises the profile of all involved.
Anyway I don't know what everybody's getting excited about, Grendel will be along
Shortly to piss on everyone's chips. Ah well :)

Fuck me, that would be a Xmas present and a half Dave. As much as I hate Wasps, I wouldn't liquidate them as it'd be shit for their fans. I'd send them back to London though.

Relocate Wasps I believe London is looking for another odd shaped ball team.

Rumours are abound, there is potential investment coming. Tight lipped around the club and I cant find out if SISU are going or who is interested in investing. Will keep you posted.
And before you ask, I am not saying who my source is and this is all I know at the moment.

If we get decent investment before Xmas or SISU leave, you're heading to the top of the Xmas card list Malaka.

As good as it would be to have some serious investment in the team, sisu or not. If being a cov city fan has taught me anything it's don't believe a word till it's official. I'm sill not over Nacho Novo

To be fair, I never got over Joe Cole/Jack Cork until Cole ended up here.

Surely it wouldn't be joint venture with SISU it Red Bull were considering to re-brand us? And considering the rumour is about potential investment, we could probably rule out Red Bull?

Can't condone what Red Bull allegedly did in Germany, effectively franchising that team in an MK dons sort of way .... however, if they were to invest with SISU (or even better buy them out) I'd have some hope that our fortunes could change with a company who wouldn't be afraid to invest, and already proven to be sporting winners:

Was at a big management seminar a couple of months ago. You get the usual kind of guest speakers, regurgitating and re-branding the same management bollocks....but this one included Mark Gallagher who's spent many years in Formula 1 and was instrumental in Red Bull's F1 team. It was an absolutely fascinating insight into F1 (and I don't care much for the sport!), how the culture has changed since the death of Ayrton Senna...but importantly, Mr Gallagher explained how the Red Bull ethos effectively took Jaguar Racing from virtual obscurity to world beaters in a few years, by investing wisely, bringing in the right people when it was needed, and changing the way the team worked and played. If they could bring that magic touch to the City, even if it was in a partnership with SISU, I'd even have a bit of optimism.

I'd take investment alongside Sisu, it's going to need at least investment in a stadium/training ground if not players to move us forward.

Got to be 100% new management, no Fisher, no Seppala, no text a sub.

Obviously, this could be an interesting development. However, I wonder what level of due diligence any potential investor would be making in getting involved with SISU? SISU's financial performance in recent years has not been strong.

If there was a new investor such as Red Bull for the millions they would hopefully put in they would demand full control of the club in my opinion,

Ohhhhh please let this be true... i have supported Ccfc for almost 50 years how I would love to see maybe a little success for myself and the younger supporters.. we change our shirts every couple of years and we have had our nickname for a number of years and while I would like ys to keep our identity after the past 10 years or so of shit we have had to contend with i wouldnt give a flying fuck what colour we played in if it meant us actually having something to support once again !!!

I do think the comparisons with Hull and Cardiff are a little wide of the mark. Hull are already a yo-yo Prem club and Cardiff a team with 3 Championship play off finishes + a promotion to the Prem as champions in the last 7 years. Both teams with more success than we could dream about in our past 10 to 15 years. It's a lot easier to moan about shirt colour changes and rebranding when you're in that position than hovering above the relegation zone in League 1 in your 6th season there with owners that have shown no interest in our club.

Investment ? Very intriguing and this rumour/debate will fill these pages for the days to come. I will ask this question. It was put to me the other day before this rumour became public that the SBT meeting which was happening this Monday was put off for a week in anticipation of some news. Could this be the news?
