Weird, I must have seen into the future when I was 5 or 6 that SISU were coming in when I started going to games.

You're not convincing anyone, Nick. You and others can bang on and on about how boycotting SISU simply harms the club and not SISU. You may be factually correct, but you will never convince others. Next season I will , for the first time since 1984 (and of course Sixfields) probably not renew my season ticket . Why ? I'm sick of what SISU have done to my club. They put money in , then destroyed the very foundations of the club, then told us to fuck off and stand alone. Stand on what ? The foundations of the club have gone.
....so that makes me a NOPM does it ? Well no. I hate the owners but I can't stomach watching my team lose week in , week out, with , importantly, no prospect of improvement or investment. I no longer enjoy what I watch. I'd rather spend my money on other interests. I'm not thinking NOPM, though the outcome amounts to the same thing.
NOPM isn't really measureable in terms of numbers. Sure, some say they won't go until SISU have gone. I say I won't go because the football's utter crap and there is no prospect of improvement. Oh yes and the owners are still SISU and that speaks everything for future prospects.
On the subject of fans disrupting matches and the likes of the various supporters groups involved in organised demonstrations etc, Irish Sky Blue puts it very well. The more angry and desperate supporters get , the more they will go it alone and take their own action without the need to "follow" advice. They're not so stupid, they don't need to follow social media or a group or need to be told what to do.
I should think there is likely to be more disruption as our season continues to spiral downwards. Saying it won't hurt SISU and simply hurts the club won't convince most people. The damage has been all of SISU'S making, not CCFC's. Rightly or wrongly, that's how it is, and that's how it's perceived. .

Well no, you won't be NOPM you will just be fed up of shite football. You won't be doing it to try and starve SISU or with a plan behind it, you will just be annoyed at not winning.
What's wrong with pointing out to people who do bang on about NOPM and doing it as a method (Rather than it just being shite football)? I doubt you will be on here acting a Martyr that you don't go, you won't be telling everybody else they need to boycott to get rid of SISU. You will just say "football is shite".

I will probably not go next season because after decades of supporting the club I grew up with I simply give up. The football is shocking, but , fundamentally, the club has been ruined by our owners beyond repair. That leaves a very bad taste, but it makes the decision not to go much easier. This time next season we may be on the precipice: staring at non-league and ground sharing locally. We will be down to 2,000 season ticket holders, attendances down to below 6,000. Fisher will patronise the fans as usual. Slade will probably leave by Christmas. The familiar cycle will simply continue.
If SISU finally decide the club is not worth holding onto it won't be because of those loyal supporters who still go.

Can't blame anyone for not going because its not enjoyable anymore. Lets face it there can't be many more depressing things to do every weekend.
But not going because its shit, even if that has been caused by our owners, is a lot different to claiming NOPM. You do have to wonder how many who throw NOPM are actually people who have just got fed up of going.

It wouldn't take much for a club of our size to be towards the top of Division 3 and 4. Add to this SISU going and being able to enjoy going to games again and I can't see why gates wouldn't rise again.

that's the biggest thing IMO. you can have a rubbish season but then be looking forward to the next season hoping for better things. We don't get that.

Does it matter? It's all a reflection of SISU's failed stewardship of the club. Pissing around trying to decide if it's really NOPM or not just detracts from fact that whatever the reason it's down to failure and on many levels. Why give SISU that hiding place by analysing a reaction to failing instead of analysing the failure. They don't deserve it.

They sell players and the money doesn't go to the manager. So it is nothing to do with money coming in these days. The main reason we are bottom of Division 3 IMHO

There will never ever be a full 100% boycott.
They will just cut the costs so numbers balance. It won't hurt SISU, Joy won't be going homeless because people boycott CCFC.

If that was to happen it would be the conference or something, SISU still wouldn't be putting any money in or losing out as they will have slashed the outgoings to suit.

I am against a boycott, NOPM hurts CCFC and contributes to where we are. It is not the cause of the downfall but it is self defeating.
It may make the fan feel better about themselves for taking this stance and I understand that. We can't say that NOPM is a protest it's a turning of your back when the team need it most. It's what's in it for me? at a time we should be putting CCFC first
