Stokes has missed nearly a year through injury, this may have had a bearing also think he lacks pace for a 26 year old and thought that Rochdale goal he was left for dead.

Is it just me who is actually pretty excited for this summer pre season :)

Happy he's clearing the decks. One or two more I'd of been tempted to keep. But then maybe they said I'm good thanks... I'll be leaving anyway.
I think we've missed a trick in not offering terms to Haynes purely just as if he was to reject the deal we'd be entitled to a compensation fee.

Pretty happy with the news oversll. I know I haven't always been in the majority (and I'm probably still not for the second one), but I really rate Bigi and Ruben. I'm pleased he's keeping them both.

My only disappointment is Stokes, who I think is a steady and solid full back and an even better centre back. I'm guessing his injury plagued season hasn't helped.

I hope Reid finds another club as that will be a significant amount of (wasted) wages back in the kitty.

Bring on the summer recruitment drive!

Of the players who are still under contract beyond this summer, winger Kyel Reid is believed to have been told he’s free to find another club despite having a year left on his current deal.

So that's a squad of:

RCC
DKE, Willis, Turnbull, Harries
Bigi, Stevenson
Thomas, Jones, Lamerias
Beavon, Thomas

I expect bids for three or four of them. Decent base to build on though. Need a GK, RB, CB, LB, DM, AM and maybe a striker at least.

I was disappointed with some of the names, but then at the same time this was the worst season I've seen in my entire life so they can all be thrown into the river in a big sack for what I've had to witness.

Yay bigi set to stay! That was the big one for me. Surprised lameries staying but grendels 2 shittest players remain so it makes me love mark robins even more ha as he clearly thinks different.

Its gonna be a busy summer!

Not unhappy with that but can we please, please, please add TWO goalscorers to the squad.
We need a 20, a 15 and a 10 goal contributor to have any chance of a successful season. George Thomas could be one of them, if he stays, but we need TWO good uns.

Is he tho.... will he accept the deal offered or when offered. I'd imagine his agent will want a "good" deal for him and likely highest earner. Will Thomas, Lameries, DKE accept too??

Think Haynes could come back to haunt us. Don't we lose out on any compo if we don't offer him a deal aswell?

Would have kept stokes

Not happy with lamerias getting another go.

Should we be outraged then that loads of players who were shit for us are going?
No we should be happy! Would be delighted even more though if Bigi was added to the list.

Just need to see if Turnbull wants to go now, my guess is that he will want to.

Pretty much a clean slate for Robins to work with, hopefully Tommy Widdrington has been busy.

Robins obviously sees something in Lameiras that he likes. Let's see how it goes. Don't think he's been that bad lately but do find him massively frustrating.

How many players will we be looking to recruit for next season after releasing so many today?
