No one is saying that. Dont be so slow
It would minimise the amount of gambling tho
No one is saying all crime can be stopped. But i would rather stop harmful acts and have ppl go oit of thetr way to get it than legalise it and let people harm Themselves whilst i pride myself on them not breaking laws to get hold it
HAHA! You kill me! Prohibition never stopped anything, it just drives it underground. Unless you live in some draconian state where the punishment far out weighs the crime.
Ahh so now we get to it. You are scared of a system where druggies are punished.
You should.of just said
Its cool you want to legalise drugs so that you never get punished. Just don't dress it up as impoving society.
There no such thing as liberal democracy now haha, it's almost sad. Don't feed him.

This is the crux of it for me. Those that are shouting loudest against the decriminalisation of drugs, are probably the ones who are down the pub every weekend.seeking an altered state of conscientious is human nature, (and some animals too).
It should be controlled and legislated correctly.
The argument for the criminalisation of drugs would hold a lot more water if we hadn't legalised one of the most dangerous drugs ever synthesised.
I'm not scared of a system where "druggies" are punished but I'm am scared by a society with such a lack of progression as ours is turning into.

Grendel points to the fact terrorists are weed smokers, but there are far more crimes committed by drunks in this country than potheads.(yes I know toking is illegal).
I'd much rather spend an evening with someone who is stoned than someone who is pissed.

I think weed should be legalised and I don't touch it. I don't even smoke tobacco!I said earlier in threas i drink prob once every 6 weeks on average
Funny though you see it like thwt. I see it opposite way. Those who want it legalised need it.
Haven't smoked weed for 10 years. Just think the amount of tax raised from cannabis sales could go towards funding treatment for alcohol related illnesses on the NHS.I said earlier in threas i drink prob once every 6 weeks on average

Or for issues relating to weed. And all the new doctors we have from weed family backgrounds will help...Haven't smoked weed for 10 years. Just think the amount of tax raised from cannabis sales could go towards funding treatment for alcohol related illnesses on the NHS.

What happens if people wanted weed for medical reasons?
To keep it on topic, is it because you are a pot smoking terrorist?Ok why am I doing quite well in the prediction league

You're way off topic.....it's because he might be a pot smoking alcoholic atheist terrorist I believe. To keep it on topic, is it because you are a pot smoking terrorist?
What issues relating to weed?Or for issues relating to weed. And all the new doctors we have from weed family backgrounds will help...
You are aware that as an example the pair who beheaded Lee Rigby had a history of cannabis abuse? Now tell me what would have been the response to a government that legalised the drug one day and the next this occurred?
What the actual fuck?!
and btw i dabbled for 3 years whilst at uni. then i graduated and left it behind. anyone over 22 who is tempted by drugs is weak minded.
You could use the exact same argument for alcohol though. Also, it is very much a minority of people who end up with mental health problems.
You probably underestimate exactly how many people now smoke it, it's a lot more common than you seem to think.
The only person I've ever seen suffering from psychosis was alcohol induced.
What the actual fuck?!
So you've never been drunk in a pub?
Almost all people I know who have smoked cannabis, are more paranoid and anxious in some way.

Anyone in general tempted by drugs is weak minded.
Without trying to be rude to you that is.
- It has been associated with decreased motivation, and has been connected to increased absences and decreased work performance. What issues relating to weed?

Affect on social life and cognitive abilities:
-leading to problems with memory,
-slowed reaction times,
-anxiety and panic attacks especially in large doses
-as well as social and interpersonal deficits
It also has physical disadvantages which include:
-a suppressed immune system
-respiratory problems stemming from the fact that marijuana contains greater amounts of tars than those found in tobacco smoke,
- contains carcinogens that lead to cancer ---Chronic use of weed can also reduce fertility and sexual potency in men and women
-There is a clinically significant relationship between reductions of marijuana use and reduction in depression among young women (ages 18-25). Depression is the most common mental illness for young adults, particularly for young women, and depressive symptoms were reduced in young women who reduced their use of cannabis.
As I say I don't drink so I don't see what you are getting at?I take it that you are including alcohol in that as well?
As I say I don't drink so I don't see what you are getting at?
Yeah.....but you have just mentioned you have worked in a pub......basically you worked for a drug dealer
I'm also in training, to join the Royal Navy that has a drinking culture?
But I didn't say it was weak minded to drink alcohol? Perhaps I should have been more specific in saying, that it's weak minded to do illegalised drugs.
