Woking at home or away I dont care - I remember them taking us to a replay in the cup back in 97. I Went to both games - replay was a sell out but got tickets courtesy of Noel Whelen who had a little thing with my sister at the time.

Second round draw details - Maidstone at home will do.
....and the tension is bearable. That said, I've got a couple of Cov-supporting mates who watch Maidstone as live down there, they are both well up for it if we draw them.

Did he show her a good time?

How little a thing?

Well whatever the draw I will not be going as all the family will be gathered for my wife's 70 birthday. So actually I hope it will be away somewhere I wouldn't want to go!

I wouldn't have been too bothered if we'd have lost yesterday and focused on the league but now we're only a game away from a potential money spinner at a PL club then I want us to go on and win.

Anyone from our league or lower would be good. L1 side then we are history. Honest but true. Soz.
Not so sure myself.

We play better on the break. Would prefer lower Division 3 than lower Division 4.

Prize money is decent even without drawing a big club in the third round
I think we'd all enjoy another day out with no pressure to get a result if we can make the third round and pull out a plum

Just a word of warning - I pulled out my plums against Arsenal in the 4th round 2014 and now i'm banned from every stadium in the country.

As long as we keep winning, the prize money for 3rd round winners is good. However, if we got a 'big' name the revenue should eclipse the potential 'winnings' anyway. Televised game at home to Spurs etc would be nice (if painful viewing!)

I'd like Everton away if we can get to the next round. Might be the last chance we get to visit Goodison before they knock it down.

Anybody else struggling to get their head around this (no pun intended !)?

Funny feeling we will get someone like Bradford away and not progress through but equally wont be bothered. Sooner we have the league and nothing but the league to concentrate on the better for this season!
I tend to like the distraction of the cups but I think this is a season where promotion is absolute.

Agree - only slight issue is extra revenue may keep a player. help buy a player, in January

I assume that these are each discreet prizes (so if we win the second round we get £18k + £27k = £45k in total?

What's going on with the semi-final/final losers categories? As they have prizes for quarter final winners, they could have just said that 1/4 final winners get £810k and semi final winners get £1,350k (an additional £450k + guaranteed at least a final runner up spot).

Disagree
Would like to see us up against a league 1 team. I think this seasons team is better equipped than last years and would show a good account of itself. Especially at home.

getting to the 3rd round for a club like ours is huge for revenue. Win in the 3rd round and that could be another players wages for the year.

We need to try and go as far as we can
