There weren't many hiding today in fairness compared to last week.

Robins keeps alluding to it as well about confidence and players getting hammered, Vincenti gets cheered off sarcastically when he didn't really do much wrong at all. McNulty gets hammered as being awful yet keeps scoring. Biamou granted couldn't score in a brothel but he doesn't really hide during games.
Yep. As I said previously, the cheering of Vincenti going off clearly points to fans turning up with an already formed set in stone opinion of a player.

Surely everyone could see the good Vincenti did okay out there today couldn't they?

We look a decent side when we get it down and pass it, awful when we just hit the long ball, Burge does it every time, couple of attacking players in jan and we won’t be far off, and what’s with booing McNulty, quality player, 4 in 5 games, can’t do much more?

McNulty was superb today and quite rightly got MoM. Vincenti played well, the young lad in midfield played well too.

If he wasn't, why was his bodyguard there?
No he wasn't and like I said earlier he is a rapid response steward and also bodyguards Tim.
Anyway it is no way to for a steward to react, supposed to keep the peace he nearly caused a riot.
Good job the old bill was there to mop up.

Ah an orange jacket, said at the time of the Sheffield United game there was a couple of them by the goal swinging and kicking at people.

Will wait to see / hear more about it but if he has walked up and assaulted somebody I hope he loses his job and security license. Is there more to it?

that explains why the lads behind said a steward. Sounds like a grade c**t.

Any way I thought it was a decent game better then I thought it would be. Yes it was a bit open but that helped the game be more exciting then of late.
Could easily have been a 5-3 score line.

The lads behind me said he was bang out of order and a disgrace and that ties up with what LAST is saying.

The bloke is massive you can't miss him.
But shouldn't have manhandled a supporter who is carrying his daughter.
TBF if it was me and he did that while I was carrying my daughter I would have chinned him, and I am not a violent person.
He Should have waited for the police to sort out whatever problem he had with these people.

In which case, hopefully he will be sacked and lose his license.

What caused it

na, a few couldn't

Everytime the ball went near him people started complaining, I think Grimmer played a loose ball in his general direction and some bellend behind me started going on at Vincentti for not getting it, I thought he done well.

Enjoyed the game - good effort from Bayliss - yes McNulty skied a couple but at least he was there - there were 5 just misses !
On the way in saw a bit of nonsense between a Security girl and the a Fan going in to Singers corner blocks - he was shouting in her face about an inch from it which seemed unnecessary but i missed how it started

Not sure but he came over and told them to get out of his face then it all kicked off after a couple of minutes.
Police came by and dragged him away he then ran back in, kicked one fan and threw a punch at an older man I believe it was the first guys father but not 100% on that.
Some then followed him into the carpark, that was my queue to get back to my seat.

Why would he walk over to say get out of my face?

If the police dragged him from attacking fans would think his job would be gone.

What's Robins said tonight?

Game was too open.
Had enough chances to put it to bed.
Was asked about the fans reaction to McNulty -
McNulty is a good player, will become a favourite, supporters who know the game will know how good he is.
Praised Biamou for his work rate.
Praised Bayliss.
Said McDonald had fallen on his shoulder and they would assess it Monday.
Spoke highly of Eisa for Cheltenam.

All teams will, look how many Luton had against us. No team is going to score every chance they get.

The first half was open, it could have been 4-4. I think if we had Davies on from the start we would have done better.

No Nick, you are putting it down to players performances. Davies came on and did very well but with the bennefit of a tactical reshufffle Tactically we were open in the first half.

Eisa was very good, intelligent player, excellent movement and quick. Could give Jordan Willis the slip in a phone box. Constantly dropping off him finding a few yards of space to work in. A good find in non league football by Gary Johnson.

I was concerned with the back 4 before the game, first 10 minutes we looked solid but then a few faded and one or two switched off at times to allow Cheltenham to grow in confidence.
However more importantly we took the 3 points today, a massive result to hopefully kickstart the festive program.

Thought the first half was one of the better I've seen this season. The early goal obviously opened the game up and Cheltenham had to come out a bit more. Should have been 3-3 at half time with the chances at both ends. McDonald and Stokes got in a bit of a muddle for the goal but overall I thought Stokes was decent on the day.
McNulty had a good game and while missing a few chances, finally put away probably the hardest one of all after a terrible touch.
Biamou's miss though.......

it was very decent entertainment and we won for the 1st time since Sept at home.

I'd take "open" ever home game if it was like that. way better than some of the dross served up over the past few years

Probably the most entertaining game I've seen this season, but obviously, as a manager Robins wouldn't be happy with that.

Was it just me or was Rod Mcdonald awfull, carrying on from his performance last week.

Turning circle of tank, slow and cumbersome, did not get anywhere near marking their big striker was never closer gave him so much room in that first half.
Last 6 games you can clearly see how he will struggle to play a higher level. Very good defender at this level. League two suits him to T.

His inadequacies Further highlighted when Tom Davies came on and was superb and almost completely elimnated their threat.

Im hoping hes just having a few off games.
