Ah so an opinion without fact then

Tommy is quoted as being grateful for the time inside ( I thought he was supposed to be murdered inside by Muslims ... apparently not ) which allows him to write a book. Now what did the other guy who was against one religion call his book? Maybe he could use the same title for his fans... I know... „My Struggle“. Sounds great, Tommy fighting against the liberal democratic state for freedom and to save the White Christian race from those Middle Eastern peoples who want to destroy it. Been done before, but a good cover version would be a best seller.

The same press who slaughter him to sell their papers ?

Sorry. Twitter has banned him for life.

This is a quote, allegedly from him:

@But he did not seem overly concerned about incarceration in a letter written from prison last month, which said he was using the time to write a new book.

“I’d like to thank Her Majesty for giving me the time alone on my own to work on it,” Robinson wrote.

“I sit here happy, happy that this sentence has backfired on the establishment.”

It called for a “moment to change the direction of our nation” and furthered the myth of an “Islamic takeover” in Britain and thanked supporters for donations via Robinson’s website that are said to be going towards legal costs.

Citing support from Mr Wilders and Mr Trump, the letter continued: “I’d have done six months just for that recognition.”“

I’m sure Tommy doesn’t mind. As long as someone is paying him attention. That’s all that matters to him.

You and mad Mart seem to be giving him more attention on here than anyone else. How many times would any right wing extremist be mentioned on here without Mad Mart?

Their lies get spouted on here a lot. Anyway any thoughts on Bannon and Farage speaking for Roy Moore in Alabama.. although he was well known for grooming young women/ teenagers? This is an EU in or Out thread and the right wingers are the main proponents of Brexit. Hard to avoid them..

You seem to think that this says something about me and Mart but I only got involved because I knew an answer to a question you asked. I guess that makes my involvement in this part of the debate your fault. That being the case it confirms that you are personally responsible for an equal share of the attention he’s received this evening. If not the lions share.

And the old Trump trick to give opponents nicknames..... deflection, try to belittle opponents..... I don’t belittle you... don’t need to, you do a good job of discrediting yourself..as does Trump

So people who use silly nicknames are like Donald Trump? That’s interesting.

Tommy's case has been adjourned until the end of the month and another media ban today at court.
I think I've missed something here. Why is there an appeal hearing when he pled guilty at the original trial?

Media ban isn't working very well, quick google shows numerous articles on todays court appearance from the likes of BBC, Guardian, Sun, Mirror, Star, Independent, Metro, Evening Standard, Mail etc.

I think the appeal is against the sentencing rather than the judgement.

Not sure what the media ban comment is about. Like you say, there is coverage everywhere.

The richest men in America backed Trump..., and Bannon....and their „ think tank“ is paying Tommy Robinson‘s legal costs. Why do you think that is? I think to influence people like yourselves and distract you from tax havens, deregulation of workers protections and the environment. And break up the EU to make it easier to sell their products and services in Europe by picking off The countries one by one to get the best terms possible. I may of course be wrong, and they are fighting for freedom and justice... but I doubt it..
Very rich people fund all political parties & cover various costs for unsavory characters

Not sure he'll get too far there. Quick look at the sentencing guidelines says up to 2 years in jail for contempt of court. He had a suspended sentence of 3 months from the last time he did it, no longer suspended, then 10 months for the repeat offence.

3 months against a maximum of 2 years doesn't seem particularly harsh nor does 10 months for doing exactly the same thing again.

That’s true. Maybe he’s having trouble going cold turkey from the attention he craves while being locked up and this is a method to get his fix. Plus someone else is paying for it so why not.
