The police estimate was 130,000. The 700,000 figure is a lie.

That many people at 3 people per sq m (as depicted) would occupy 23km of road which is 10m wide.
I don't think a moving crowd can squish up that much safely.

Which makes it even less significant

You seem to be swearing a lot tonight. The thing is a European superstate is not necessarily a good thing depending on how it is run.
Do you think the EU is democratic? If you do please explain how the people can influence the course of policy like they will be able to do in the UK after we leave at a General Election.

There is no superstate. The EU parliament is democratic and has PR as opposed to FPTP. The Council consists of elected governments. Who do think elects MEPs or the British government?

Do you know why the US wash’s chicken carcasses in chlorine? As a self proclaimed animal lover I should think you do. I would have thought that the reason they use this process would be the overriding factor for an animal lover to not want it importing into the country as part of any trade deal and support the EU ban on their own basic principles regardless of what you may think the EU’s motivation is.
But bad practices go on in every sector. Sheep shearing was a recent one highlighted with food, then there was the horsemeat scandal. Brexit doesn't mean standards will fall or any increase in bad practices...it is just speculation & scaremongering

The chlorine washing isn’t the “bad” practice. There’s a reason why they have to wash chicken in it in the US as there’s a reason why we don’t have to.

Your suggestion that undeclared horse meat is allowed in the EU was deliberately misleading. A similar tactic to that employed by Farage and co..
So, my factually correct statement (it was in no way 'suggested') as it is factually correct, confirms to you that not only am I Farage supporter but I am somehow driven by his agenda in my rhetoric and couldn't be capable of implying anything but?................. just to get this straight.

You truly are mental. I’ve only said the one thing. Like you say everyone can read it. Everyone except you that is.
What is the one thing you have said?

OK. Will dumb it down for you.

We have a problem with the border in Ireland. The EU wants us to stay in. We are trying to leave. They are doing what they can to make us stay in the EU. Agreed?

So onto the border problem. They want us to keep up with free movement of people. We want a trade agreement. This includes more than just normal trade that comes in lorries. But it is the normal trade they keep quoting. How are we going to know what is coming into the EU from the UK. How are we going to police it. How are we going to have a border between the EU and UK.

You say having a trade agreement before sorting out the border problem would make the border problem worse. Please explain.

If we knew how all the deals would come together we could put a plan together for each one. For instance would the UK have to make sure anything brought into the UK kept to certain standards?

Yes the talk is mainly about a border and where to do checks. But I suppose you will also deny this.

Where are you getting a police estimate from? Met Police Events team stated that, as is standard practice, they wouldn't be releasing a figure unless there was an issue with the event organisers estimate.

Can't see anything from them released later with any figures on.

Breitbart is his usual source.

I know what the crowds were like leaving Wembley. They didn’t stretch for 5 miles ( he claimed 23 miles for over 600000 ), I saw the crowds from the aerial view. They were crushed together- not like in his diagram. The leavers are rattled. The will of an increasingly large section of the people is not Brexit.

That march today..... Pathetic , exaggerated and publicised as much as possible by the liberal press. Sickening politics going on again.......those seeking power would back anything and promise everything that might have short term voting popularity. Brexit doesn't mean leaving Europe, it doesn't mean not embracing the fabulous diverse culture and not appreciating the exquisite architecture and infrastructure across Europe and its natural wonders and it doesn't mean alienating people across that zone. It means retreating from a bunch of middle men, a bunch of needless bureaucrats, who create wealth for themselves with intricate laws and mandates. These people take a great chunk of UK cash for their own ends and then spread the rest around the EU according to where they think they might get the best return for French and German industrialists.

Liberal press? You are off your head. Did you read the Sun, Express, Mail etc.. No of course you didn’t. You knew that the March wasn’t large, you knew everyone wants Brexit without having to have it confirmed by the Brexit press. You even parrot the crap that you have learned by heart. Total denial. Brexit is dead. The people want out of it. Stop crying snowflake.

Just what is legally classed as bad practice will probably be altered to consumers’ detriment as we are a distressed trade partner with no - I repeat - no trade deals.

What do you want as a reply? A list of food supply crimes from the UK? Or environmental problems in the UK? Yes, the EU is not perfect and crimes happen in all EU countries. Anything new to report? Is the UK some sort of godly place where no crimes take place? I don’t get your point.

He really is wasted on here, I'm surprised he hasn't been headhunted to carve out a breakthrough in the negotiations.

The UK was told at the very beginning that the EU was a rule based organisation and that there was no way that they would be changing the rules of the 27 to accomodate the1.

No cherry picking.

Astute lists crimes commited in the EU to prove that rules can be broken. He also spent 2 or 3 weeks claimimg that rules had been broken in the case of Selmayr. They weren't broken. But, even if they were, it doesn't mean that the UK has the right to cherry pick.

A very weird argument bordering on insanity. Maybe that is why he has not been headhunted and belongs in the same club as Captain Breitbart, Ashdown and Bazza.

Some members of the EEA have previously objected to the UK joining it though and it wouldn't be a given.

Following in from this I’ve tried to find what I can. We are a member of the EEA now as part of the European Union. I can find nothing in the EEA arrangement that would give any country a right to reject our continued membership once we resign from the Eu.

Perhaps you can show me where this is the case or indeed Mart as he liked your post?

I had seen murmurings of it previously but have also seen this Norway drops objection to Britain staying in single market after Brexit just now

It’s hogwash though because the assumption is that we’d exit the EEA when leaving

Where in article 50 is there anywhere this triggers that? Mart seems to have an opinion piece but as ever no evidence

That's an interesting point, this may be of interest How Article 127 of the EEA Agreement could keep the UK in the single market
It would seem that the UK would have to trigger article 127 to leave the EEA, which has never been discussed. You'd like to think ministers would be aware of this but based on previous behaviour, who knows?

It’s leaving the single market that means we will no longer be members of the EEA not leaving the EU by triggering article 50. It has been suggested that we’ll have to trigger another article (don’t recall the number) if we’re withdrawing from the single market as well. Not sure if this has been done or not yet, or if it does indeed need to happen. But you can’t be in the EEA and not be in the single market is the short answer.

Why no comments from the l8nks I left for you Tony?

Thought you would have your excuses ready for the EU as usual. But not the slightest comment.

Because you’re a boring moron if you want the truth. Can’t be arsed to deal with your twisting of what people say and failing to understand the basics of what people are telling you.

Which means that we can remain in the EEA which is my point
