Coded allegations? Wtf are you on about now? I have also said that both the north and the midlands get ignored, it’s a different world compared to London and the Home Counties. Even in Brighton though there is mass inequality, especially with Londoners moving down and buying up housing and wages in a lot of sectors being average, despite the increased cost of living compared to the rest of the country.

My point is that banning public schools has a negative effect on comprehensive education. Adding massive money for teacher salaries would improve comprehensive education but not quickly - that ship sailed a long time ago.

The only rationale for banning public schools would be spite.

When Shmeee said about the extra money went into education when Bliar was PM. 4 of you agreed with him. Yet not one of you made any comment when I showed that the money went to private companies and continues to go to private companies. And because of the rules the tax payer continues to get ripped off.

It’s nothing to do with spite whatsoever. In my experience the vast majority of people I know who went to private schools ended up flopping at ALevel and going to universities like Luton and Bedfordshire.

I was proposing changes to the education system, which IMO would improve overall standards in the long-run. This would assist in improving standards and plugging skills gaps long term - id open up more vocational colleges for those not wanting to do academic education.

It would make the country less reliant on immigration in the long term.
