Which was entirely different. That was paid to a Japanese Corp to try to protect jobs already held...but there was uproar about it. This German protectionism...trying to stop foreign buy up of German businesses. And It has so far from what I have heard, met with indifference or just casual acceptance.

And that is what makes me laugh. We have people in here that are British. They have a go at the British government for trying to protect jobs. But Germany takes it a step further and takes a stake in private companies. Not a single word is said. So the German government then can pump as much money in as they like.Which was entirely different. The link Captain put up explains both of us. You praise the EU as much as you can and applaud what they do. I look at the faults of each side.
Then you have the balls to call me biased
Can you show me where I have praised the EU?

I wonder what the EU will do as rules and regulations mean there must be a level playing field. But there again it is Germany. So nothing will be done. We have seen it all before and will see it all again.
Hysterical crap ! What a ridiculous and desperate statement from a twisted and bitter individual.„Tusk turns up the heat
He says there is a "special place in hell for those who promoted Brexit without any plan for how to carry it."“
Quite right.
Is that praise for Tusk and the EU?„Tusk turns up the heat

Wrong again.Where does it say the German government can pump as much money as it likes? Where does it say that if they step in it is for the long term? They are talking about technology leaving Europe and the EU potentially being squeezed out by China and USA. One thing they want is the cartel rules altered to allow giant EU mergers to compete in world markets. Plus, it is a paper, not a law. They need to reform the EU cartel system to get this. It seems pretty sensible, but has not yet been approved by the German Parliament or the EU.
Wrong again.
It is in the regulations. No government is allowed to do anything to stop there from being a level playing field. But they will let Germany do it as they let Germany do it as likes. Just like dieselgate.

From someone who raped and pillaged his own peoples pension funds and was interviewed in a murder enquiry of a political adversary what would you expect.
Five live think his interaction is likely to strengthen the hard Brexit cause
He’s an utter wanker
Well so far all we have is project fear and mass scaremongering from the metropolitan elite.........It's not really done anything to Britain either way as yet !.................I doubt we would hear that much about the positives either because of the incredible media bias. It's all starting to look like the millennium bug fiasco to me......a storm in a tea cup.Cut the crap and tell me whether Brexit was pushed by people who didn’t have a plan how to carry it out or not. And look what Brexit is doing to Britain. No patriot would ever have inflicted this crap on their own country. So yes there is a special place in hell for those who sold Brexit as a benefit to the British people.

Germany gets a load of trouble about Dieselgate. They are now asking to change the cartel regulations and be allowed to stop technology transfer. Nothing has happened yet, but they will have support for that.
So you agree his wording is wrong then? No. It is a an agreement about how crap Brexit is. Nothing to do with how good or bad the EU is. Saying Brexit is going horribly wrong isn’t praising the EU.
Germany goes against the EU and the EU does nothing. We already know that. How can I be wrong if nothing has happened and they have only released a paper which relies on agreement from the EU?

So you agree his wording is wrong then?
So what has the EU done about the rules and regulations the German car makers broke and the EU knew about when they were doing it?
Exactly. It was governments around the world that have done what the EU should have done.
Shall we go back to dieselgate? As in when the EU knew they were breaking all rules and regulations as well as killing countless people with the pollution? Before it happens? Genius.
So if his wording is wrong why did you agree with his comment?Yes, of course. I would like to see Farage, Mogg, Banks and co get their just deserts.

Genius you are not.
